Wish I could help. It's hard to swallow this type of performance. Last week was clearly no abberation My tax return was a lot better than anticipated.

Do you really want the great coach and man seen responsible for wooden spoon? I don't. And then what. How well will we do the the year after. I personally respect the man. Yes I've called for his head today but genuinely because I don't want to see him removed because we missed two double chances, then finished 14 , then last and then another poor year. Let him go now. Best for him and couldn't be worse for the club. That's where I think it's win win in a tight spot.

Yea your right to a degree. Our fwd line pressure or lack of thereof has seen several " coast to coast goals". ( Fritta a whacking two tackles off the back of none last week) But they still need to be faster to recover and regroup. The fumbles have to stop. And they need to communicate much more. But I'm just so tired of seeing to defenders go for the same mark against one opponent who had the footy iq to stay down and watch them make a meal of it. So I think on balance the backline has gone backwards. 22 is was our fwd line ( still realing) 23 despite the constant objections by several prominent and respected posters here....see our fwd line review in previous paragraph. 24 our backline .....see above again. A new coach if not before. And a bus load of some tough trading and recruiting. Thanks for the ride MFC it was incredible while it lasted.

He should bow out now under the guise of personal reasons ( that he's personally forgotten how to win). But in all seriousness he should leave before what you say comes to pass. As it sure will. He's a premiership coach that needs to leave with as much dignity as possible. Rather than being sacked for a shocker of a year that will overshadow his incredible achievement..

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
Three things glaringly wrong with our club. The fwd department The backline and the midfield. Three characteristics that define it .... too old , too slow and too lazy. Three characters that sum it up .....Fritta, Billings and Sparrow. To be fair fritta played a bit better but didn't kick a single goal. Where to now? Playing to avoid winning the spoon I Guess. Do we sack Goody. Who else? Or do we drop half a dozen, concede another defeat but enjoy the humiliation of some marque players? I know thatsceromg. I'm angry. As I'm sure many of you all are. It bloody hurts. I complained that the clubs fwd line was useless and the club has been 200,% negligent in not fixing it for the last three years. Bit it's clearly well and truly deeper than that. Silly me. Our once hailed midfield of Jv, CP and CO led by the comps best rm in eons is cooked. Or once touted defence that stopped even the best , kicking over 12 goals a game has disappeared. And our fwd line. ....I've said enough now for a long time. Over to someone else... Cheers guys. Upside for me, is at least I turned off at half time and cut the grass instead of hitting the grog. So not all bad. The garden is in great shape.

Abswruckinlukely. Falling headfirst into the abyss and lead by players who should know and play so much bloody better. Total disgrace. Goodbye Goody. I defended you last week but I am totally unaware as to why. So many senior players too busy counting their money and not caring about the club. If only they were paid when they actually gave a toss. Last week someone mentioned and complained some of the players were booed off. Well another non effort like today and I for one would be leading the chorus. It's official. We stink.

Thanks for the positivity. Yes we still can for sure. But I'll probably go and mow the lawns just in case. If we win bonus replay. Lose and at least it's not a complete waste of a day. Good luck. See you in the funny papers.

Thanks Mr C. Snake . At least Milkshake has still got it. And I called for Bowser to moved fwd two weeks ago. He is fast, fleet of foot, has great hand to eye coordination and in the limited opportunities had good goal awareness. Given Kozzie s suspension and Nibbler leaving, Chins apparent cameo for the year, he could be handy.

Thanks very much. Bloody shame for the young kid. Been doing well. Heartbreaking for him. Time to call the season off.

Quick question.. Which department has been the worst today,? Forward Midfield Or Backline? Trick question...... they're all on the nose.

Jay the hell happened to Frittas kicking. Talk about confidence shot. Well Goody may be well and truly be booking an Uber to Centrelink in two more quarters.

Frittas kicking used to be super reliable. It's gone straight down the dunny.

They do play poorly. For a long time. Jake who I called for just booted a magnificent major. I'm struggling to understand what you are saying. Do you think our fwds are playing well? Not being argumentative here just trying to figure your comment out. Tx. Regardless of who is injured I claimed Jake should have been included as the best rather than the sub. Our fwd line has struggled since he went down 18 months ago.

And the entry is still putrid. I've been defending our premiership coach but maybe I'm wrong. I hope not.

I was saying I wanted Milkshake in early because we need his skill fwd drastically. Not sure what your saying.

Since Jvr never clunks anymore, he should bloody well stay down.

Predicted this. Cos our fwds stink. Just tuned in but since I just read Bowser was our only goal scorer than I'll stand by this call. Really really smell. How about giving a toss lads? Is that really too much to ask for? This may be our last hurrah. And Goody's. Wait until the noise on Monday if we lose.

Agreed B B Colin. Speaking of marshaling the troops, how does it work with Turner and Jeffo out? AJ for Jeffo but who takes Turner's post given Milkshake is only the sub. Perhaps he (JM) will be more full-time because he is the only one that offers any real forward power. I think we will see more of Jake that just the sub or at least activated earlier by necessity In either case it's a lot to ask from the aging veteran. Showed some scintillating stuff v the Swans in our last 2023 h and a game and several prior. Problem being, its two years ago for an already relatively old player. That said if he recaptures any of that form again, it will go a long way to alleviating our fwd line issues for sure. No pressure Jakey😊 And a quick shout out to Jvr and his mate Fritta....pull your fingers out. ..lest a court Marshall approaches. Well at least a good chewing out. Ps, Was Disco dropped or injured? Thanks BBP.For what it's worth, I find you a pretty good judge of the game so your response would be very much appreciated. Litd.
