I don't get how he could even entertain the prospect. I mean let's give darcy moore or less the doubt and call his knee in Traccas back a complete accident that only just nearly killed him ( ummmmm yea) then what about his partner in crimes that nearly killed Gus? And I don't believe that one was. Anywho, it must be an offer of huge Buckley's. Loyalty doesn't come cheap these days. But sure we must then play hardball with players contracts ( a legally binding and enforceable agreement,) if they want to leave. I get players have to do right by themselves and loved ones in a short term career that takes a significant toll later on in life ( some not so late,) but at the end of the day honor and commitment must mean something in this game. No loyalty ultimately means that all of us here go and start following the hawks because they are presently on top of the ladder and or Carlton because they have better TV time slots or whatever for that matter. I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe I've been a fool following this club when players don't even stick around. Why should I if they don't. And if course nobody is holding the proverbial gun to my head but if we all just jumped ship when they start to sink or even just aimlessly float about, then what's the point? I mean isn't loyalty the bedrock of this game that ties everything together,? Starting with us humble supporters. I think after decades and decades of support of the Mfc, financially and emotionally I feel that if I do it,then so should most the players. I'm at the point now, that I feel if players don't want to play for this great club, they can just rack off. They have been well looked after, stop whining. I say we all assemble at Bunnings in Mentone on Tuesday ( Mondays aren't great for me. In fact this one especially...I have an appointment with my chiropractor...but that's another story) at around 2.30 pm and source the biggest broom they have. We then make our way back to the MCG where a snap meeting of all players and staff has been called. Although those with a valid note from their parents may be excused. Sorry I digress. We then apply said broom as vigorously and unceremoniously as possible and rid ourselves of anyone that is lacking in passion and determination to win another flag. Those with back issues like myself may receive a special dispensation. Where was I? Oh yea.. We simply ask those who give a fig for another flag to take a 10 percent pay cut. ( It's not about the money....it demonstrates commitment). Those who won't....sweep sweep me old mateys. Anyone who thinks 21 was a fluke needs to book in for the 2025 village [censored] conference. The best Ruck in the comp in his prime with Oliver, Tracca and Viney supported by Gus and Ed. Jackson was a great relief for Max. That bang, bang ,bang sums our midfield up. We made a 40 point comeback at kardinia park and then smashed the cats in a final in a complete demolition. It was a year when Spargo, Nibbler and Kozzie sll kicked over Thirty goals with Bb and Tmac and Fritta firing as fwds for a change. We often kicked inxs of 100 points and Lever, Petty and May stopped almost everyone doing likewise against us. In fact, I not so humbly add that you would be well and truly over qualified for said conference. Tracca had a stellar year and it was no accident he won the Norm Smith. We finished minor premiers and then demolished every team in every final. All the dogs players and supporters could do was watch with their hands on hips as the ball went past them all. It was an incredible team that actually went close to three flags in a row. To belittle our 21 effort is not only completely simple, thems fighting words.

I used to love seeing them all come down the lraces/ corridor at the start of every game in 21 totally pumped excited and smiling and laughing. Enjoying their footy and oozing the paragon of confidence.

I'm just wondering after the seven bourbons where people actually rate North M. and Gcs,? I mean losing to the giants hurt but I know they are a good team. I would not have thought so about the others. Too early maybe. Actually only six bourbans. I have small fingers too. Is that a lot? I started at 1.30 as well. So one every 90 mins or close . Up until last week I was all for him. I don't know disagree in the slightest. But for a variety of reasons. He deserves respect but needs to go. So the sooner the better.

Onevfinal thing. I believe Gws are a very good side. Based on last year's metrics. Where do Nth M. and Gcs for in the scheme of things? What happens when we play like this v a powerhouse.?

I'm gonna say this and if I get scolded than so be it. Are there too many off field issues? I know there have been personal problems and I sympathize. But are some players just spoilt? Or perhaps too far removed from most peoples reality? Sure it's a pressure industry but the perks are pretty damn good. Cars, glamour million dollar salaries, free all expense paid oseas trips, sponsorships up the wazoo, models and fancy clothes and restaurants. How about living in the real world wondering as an 58 year old man when you can replace the baby bum tyres on your wives car or pay the premium on the fire insurance. Or even the repayment on the mortgage or the weekly rent for the caravan you live in. Or if you have a job tomorrow? Deal with those for a couple of weeks. Live in the real world for a month and see if your footy gets better. I've had my rant. Thank you. Perhaps it's time I give footy a rest for the sake of my sanity and that I don't hurt anyone's ears here.
