  1. Yep, Sadly I find myself singing along with the hawks, swans and tigers theme song. I feel so dirty afterward. Especially the hawks.
  2. All polls I've read put our theme song up there with Tigers as one of the catchiest Under red, white and blue would have covered the Norf merger but cooler heads prevailed. It astonishes me that Fitzroy fans just had their club ultimately disappear.
  3. I thought Goody wouldn't be around in 22. I'm a fickle fan but I'm glad he is still coach. Gone from his job on the line to the club's most successful coach in close to six decades.
  4. Trac to Roos... " of course I'm in....I'm a superstar"
  5. So true. I guess other fans have had the pleasure of a cup many times. That we have all hung in there for almost six decades speaks volumes about us and we shouldn't take any flack about being fair weather fans or off to the snow.
  6. I have been enjoying the Ashes but nothing now compares to winning a flag. Footy 22 cant come quick enough.
  7. The more I watch the replay, the more I appreciate Fritta's roving abilities and uncanny goal sense. He has light speed reflexes and to be fair it was probably good Hannan moved on and Melksham didnt get a guernsey . Frittas skills are in a very elite class.
  8. Yep. I reckon not a few defenders are afraid of his choosing speed and I'm sure it makes them nervous.
  9. Were you happy with the results? The team of the blonde coloured moon.
  10. Thanks Dees in October. I think I will stop doing these. My confidence is taking a battering. One question that was easy was Lyon interviewing someone who said they would have kicked nine. I didnt see who it was but even without the suggested names I would have said Allen Jakovich. And he probably would have. He was a remarkable forward. But looking at our forward line now its still pretty exciting. Bbb prior to us had one bad year and THREE years of being one of the best forwards in the land. In a very average team as well. Tmac is a mixed bag. But when he does fire, he is a defender' s nightmare and he is exceptionally strong. Kozzie and Spargo will keep improving. Dogga likewise. Fritta is the interesting one. If he continues improving on his current trajectory he will bag over sixty next year. So we had ( still do) a great midfield. Then we built the best backline. And now we seem to have created a very potent forward line. It took a while for it to sort itself out but it really gelled coming into the finals. I'm not sure which forward to be the most excited by. I think maybe Kozzie. I do think this year will see us making over 100 points a game on a fairly frequent basis.
  11. If your going to use it just as a ring tone...just play it on YouTube and simply record it with your phones recording function. I'm pretty sure a basic LG phone can do that. Find the file and select it as use for ringtone. No ripping. No downloading. No hassles. Cheers.
  12. Thanks very much flash. I didnt watch many Saints games so my knowledge of LD is zip. As for JJ and Sparrow I thought the former was somewhat jibbed when TS took his spot but I now totally get it. As for TS ceiling, I dont think I'm alone in saying it's very high. I get the feeling we have a future champion on our hands. At his age, his courage, strength and mature use of the ball are very positive and the two goals kicked off a step in the granny by him and Trac on the fifty, give me pause to think TS may follow the others footsteps. I know that's a huge call but his gf efforts were fantastic for his age and that's why I hope he gets to play a lot of games next year. The Mfc has done a great job in the young players recruited and then entrusted many of them with a Gf birth. Given most of our elite players are mostly around 25 and all the young players we have, I can't imagine us not being a force for the next five to ten years. It's looking very, very, very good for four more flags...bang bang bang bang..... back where we belong..with the most cups. #Deesbacktoback2022.
  13. Is Dunstan very good? Do you think hes better than Sparrow? How would he compare to Viney ? Is he ahead of Jordan and Sparrow in getting a gig in round one as it stands today?
  14. His accuracy has really improved. He does lead and kick a lot from pockets so that must be a factor.
  15. Fair call. His fourth was awesome and I think he may have marked it, If Max didnt try. Great cat like reflexes to land like that and then goal. It was on par with Tracs worm but seemed to fire everyone up so perhaps it was better. He could have finished the day with eight. Must have been a close second for the Norm. He's a tough forward size wise to cover. I wonder who we would play on someone like him.
  16. I'm glad we got him but I'd prefer Sparrow remain in the side. But with Viney having missed a few games he is certainly great back up. I hope he's like Bbb and shows his old club their folly.
  17. I agree. Four goals is a fair ammount and we had all the momentum but we had the same after the first quarter and they fought back and turned the tables. Dogs just seemed to wilt in the last. It will scar them, no doubt about it and we will see how much in the first game next year.
  18. I also have heard we won 19 of our third quarters for the year. The dogs won 20 of their first. We were slow starters for most games and also missed many goals. It speaks volumes for what I mentioned above in our resilience but also to the coaching staff for our fitness. In the end though. I really think it all stems from a deep confidence this team has developed. Not just confidence but the lads also seemed to enjoy themselves. All smiles heading onto the ground. The last home and away game was the pinnacle of that confidence and probably helped fuel our finals campaign. With Bbb improved along with Fritta becoming a new key target we seem to have sealed our destiny. It took some time for things to get going. ...from having a great midfield, then building the best defence about, now we seem to have a very dangerous forward line. I relish seeing all these things fire from the very start of 2022. Just give us next years cup already.
  19. Perhaps the biggest change in our team has been our resilience. We have been down in quite a few games but fought our way back. Dees of old seemed to just fold and I dare so probably would have at 19 points down. But not this lot. It was the dogs who threw in the towel.
  20. Dunstall comments at about the 10 min mark of the third.....its difficult to see the Dees getting back into this.
  21. How do you know all this? It was Josh ( messing with) Wagner Thanks guys.
