Think the Frost out hurt us tonight as well. Thought going into the game him playing in defence would have been an important point of difference from our R6 game. His ability to cover space quickly in the back line has been important when teams are in transition against us.

Kent having his best game in a while too. Not so much for his pressure acts but presenting really well to link up at half forward for us

Just watching the replay of the game now. He takes out Prestia in the centre square then follows up breaking Sexton's arm in a tackle in the space of about 10 seconds. Absolute wrecking ball

I thought the value Hunt's pace brings to the team was summed up pretty well during a passage in the 3rd Q I think it was. Got the ball off half back, but had a few Suns around him. Put on the burners for 2 or 3 steps just enough to draw them in before dishing a handball out to space on the wing. Could have easily passed it off as soon as he got his hands to it but then his team mate would have been under pressure straight away. That burst was just enough to get the runner free. It's all good having speed, but knowing how to use it is even better

Agreed. I re-watched the game today and we missed about as many gettable shots on goal as they did (counting a "gettable shot" as a set shot inside 50m or a shot on the run inside 50m under minimal pressure). A lot of their misses were due to their poor decision making, rushing snapped shots or good defensive pressure from us. I would say a bigger difference was us making a handful more difficult shots count, eg. Vanders' dribbler in the last or Kennedy's from deep in the pocket.
