  2. I could not agree more. The MFC do not need someone with such a poor and undisciplined mentality around the club. It is no surprise really, if another club is willing to get rid of such a "star", surely they must have a reason! I'm just thankful that Melbounre did not go after players such as Tarrant, Solomon or (havens forbid) Medhurst during trade time last year.
  3. You're right, it's just slightly insulting of someone who has been a great servant to the club for almost a decade now.
  4. That's exactly right. Is anyone surprised that Melbiurne are yet to win a game without Neitz, Robertson, McLean, Rivers, Bartram and Pickett for extended periods of time? I for one am not!
  5. An interesting statistic to find out would be the amount of time it takes Brad Miller to kick the ball after he takes a mark.
  6. The last thing the MFC can afford to do is appoint someone with no experience. Neale Daniher has helped take this side to the finals in five of the past seven seasons, after all of that are we going to just throw away his expertise and experience for someone untried and unproven? Remember, Tim Watson was once a very good player and look how well he turned out as coach with no experience.
  7. People should not underestimate the importance of stability within a club. This is the first time in a long time that the MFC has been able to achieve stability off the field and the results over the previous years have reflected this. I'm sure that the board will make the right decision at the end of the year and allow Neale to stay for one more year after this year was ruined by injuries.
  8. It is a credit to the football department for how they handled the situation so quickly and without any fuss.
  9. Well said. It was always a big risk recruiting someone who was deemed "unemployable" by their previous coach and by the looks of things it it hasn't paid off. I laughed when I saw all the nonsense floating about this site with people complaining about the MFC's lack of trading over the summer. Well here's what happens when you trade for players that other teams don't want.
  10. Miller wasn't playing very well before he got injured.
  11. The biggest problem was that Bulldogs players were clogging the space, not Melbourne players. Danners did try and open it up for Neitz by pushing other players wide but when the ball was kicked in that space, the Bulldogs had numbers back and often chopped the ball off. It wasn't Neale's fault at all.
  12. Has anyone else noticed that when Miller plays well (better) Melbourne tend to play bad and when Miller plays bad, Melbourne tend to play well (better)?
