  1. I kinda feel like that hashtag won't quite catch.
  2. Are you doing it right? Might as well go into a Telstra store and see if they can help you.
  3. Hey guys, not sure if everyone knows but if you are a Telstra customer you are entitled to free AFL live pass for the season. Type in #820# to your keypad, press call, and then follow the prompts This is a no strings attached service for Telstra customers which gives us access to the Draft, Under 18 championships, NAB Rising Star, every single live game and more. ALSO, this service is unmetered, meaning that you can watch it on the go and it doesn't go onto your data charges. Enjoy guys!
  4. I am 50/50 on Frosty. Love him on our list, I know he has been touted as a defender but I don't think he has the boot to be a damaging rebounding backman. Meanwhile as someone up forward, I feel like he poses the same issue...Boot is okay, not great. I love that he is an athlete and can pull the decoy for Hogan but how long can that last before we get figured out? I don't really know too much about the bloke apart from what I have observed which is above stated. If anyone can shed some more light on the bloke for me that would be great.
  5. Said from the outset when I looked at his game after hearing that we were picking him up that he is exactly the guy what we need. The bloke has been surrounded by the likes of Swan and Pendles for the past few years and needs to be a competitor and creative to even get a look in. Sa his games and was super impressed with his flare, speed, and decision making.
  6. Spot on. Essendon are a VFL side which we will pump, the bloke is ready and raring to go.
  7. JKH...Can't seem to remember who he is. Jokes aside though, if Garlett gets a week (Which I think is highly unlikely) Brayshaw will slot straight in.
  8. Choosing who has to be left out and who stays is like choosing between your children. I love them all the same.
  9. Guys. Do any of us have friends who are in the Melbourne Victory or Melbourne Heart cheer squad and want to help our cheer squad write an Essendon related drug chant? Been to plenty of A-League games and some of the chants that have been let out are absolute rippers.
  10. Dom is fine. He is in our best 22 every day of the week. It is round 1 folks, lets not call for the heads of any of our main mids yet. I think we should all be celebrating a great win instead of being so fickle with our players and attacking each other. None of us here know the boys and the game more than the coaching staff, so let's enjoy the next 5 days, wait for the teams to be released and move on from there.
  11. I am well aware that we don't need to "Rush" players into playing footy and we all know that throwing a player in the deep end under done doesn't end well. BUT. With yesterdays fanfare and optimism behind us we are all looking to next week. We play a very depleted Essendon outfit that holds more VFL regulars than the Box Hill Hawks. So my question is do we play Petracca? Some Points... - He won't be thrown in the deep end against an Eagles, Hawks, Swans outfit. - This team althogh not to be taken lightly (Like any game) are midway between AFL and VFL at best. - If we are going to throw him into a Casey game anyway, might as well put him in a game where we are odds on favourite. - MCG debut. - All reports from here, and other training reports suggest that not only was he excellent on Friday at the intra-club/praccy, he was well and truly a cut above the rest (Worth noting that this was in a team with Brayshaw and Lumumba) Just an interesting conversation topic and would love your guys opinions. I think we should throw him in and see how he takes it.
  12. Absolutely Dee-Lighted I have heart failure but today we proved today that we are a much improved team, a lot of people are pegging GWS for finals this year and a demon team from any other year would have lost that game by 40-50. YES we did get lucky with them poor kicking, but that is footy, kicking straight wins matches, and the fact that they kicked so many behinds says to me that our pressure is really getting up there. WELCOME TO THE PARTY Matthew Jones, I said a week ago that I was really happy with his pre-season and thought he was set for a great year and so far he is keeping me a man of my word. C . Oliver, round 1 rising star, Jack Viney, might be worth a sneaky $100 to place in the brownlow. And great to see Maxxy Gawn winning the hit outs against Mumford and playing well. Jack Watts, you bake a delicious humble pie and as a nay - sayer in past years I am happy to consume the bakers dozen. Ben Ken, T . Bugg...Keep doing what you are doing, guys like you are the glue between marquee players and are the blokes that help clubs become great clubs. The support acts are just as important as the main acts. Hogan...Firing when he needed to under pressure with a helthy 3 in the final term but that just says to me that every game you have potential to boot a bag. Bring on Essendon, lets make this season 2-0 and show the AFL who we are.
  13. I get home from 5 straight weeks at sea next Friday back to Sydney. The missus should be counting her lucky stars that I am not home to hijack the TV all day and that the days of having my weekend ruined and sulking around the house crying to the dog are over.
  14. As the name suggests, I will be spending the day at sea clicking refresh on the flash scores site and refreshing Demon land. You guys help these long days go by with hours of entertainment. MAKE ME PROUD DEMONS
  15. Hawthorne Fremantle West Coast Collingwood Sydney Western Bulldogs Geelong North Melbourne Brownlow: Dangerfield Coleman: Kennedy Rising Star: Petracca Recruit of the Year: Dangerfield
  16. Only Brayshaw is already just as good a player, suffered an injury and will develop into a prolific member of our future
  17. Insipid group of hacks. The fact that they have managed the last 2 years in the finals is fraudulent. Not only will we towel them up this year for the third year running, I have them tipped to finish in the bottom 6. Yes they won, but not in any way to be proud of and if they can only muster a 9 point win against Carlton then they are in for a long year.
  18. Not only that, but I have it on good authority that he is a bit of a favourite amongst the female Melbourne supporters. Not hard to see though with that loveable larrakin smile and demeanour.
  19. There is no arguement that Lyndens 2014 form was teriffic, 2015 left somewhat to be desired. But what I see with bringing O'Mac in and leaving Dunn out makes sense. Dunn will get plenty of game time this year, as mentioned, his pre-season way somewhat interrupted. HOWEVER, Lynden Dunn whilst a great member of our club has peaked as a player and he has reached his ceiling. Oscar however will only be second to his brother Tom in fitness and endurance, continue to develop well and has a lot...and I mean A LOT of potential to be just as good if not better than his brother. The fact that we can afford to make these short term sacrifices with our list means that we have over 24 players who are putting their hands up for a spot meaning the lucky 24 that do get selected game day have to play their asses off. This leads to strong, maintainable high performance longevity in our club. Dunn is a great player but I get the feeling that he is a product of old Melbourne and unless his game returns to it's 2014 form, he will be spending his game days with Jack Grimes.
  20. "Ron, are you just looking at coaches and saying you love them or do you actually love Paul Roos?"
  21. Their Midfield may have a slight edge, but unfortunatley for them that's not where goals are scored. T-Mac will be roaming free in the back line not having to worry about McCarthy and Cameron therefore will be like a troll guarding the bridge, their forward line will have the intensity of a garden salad. Mumford will be good early but I dare say his ankle won't hold 100% for the entire game. Game will be close enough until half time, but we will run away with it in the second half. Watts to hopefuly have a belter with 3 goals, Hogan with 4, Garlett with 3 goals, 2 of which he runs into an open goal square. Kennedy to have an absolute ripper and VDB to get BOG. Demons by 5 Goals.
  22. Just brush it off and walk away mate. Nobody wins in pointless internet arguements. It becomes a mundane back and forth of insults and verbal bashing and acheives nothing.
