It’s frustrating out only goals come from player brilliance and not structure.  The boys looked confused inside 50, they don’t know where to run, where to stand, where to block etc.

this has been happening for two years now!.

Salam is absolutely wasted down back, he should be a high forward or is leading up and delivering to the forwards.

I genuinely don't think we had an instance of a forward leading into space take an easy mark.

How do we consistently allow teams to chip the ball around? Surely we can plan for this. Despite the result, we were utterly outplayed and outcoached.

  2. I'm a huge fan of Hunt and love seeing him get the ball in his hands. Every time he does I generally find myself screaming "Run Hunty!".  As SPC mentioned though, he does have a few flaws he needs to work on namely in positioning and kicking penetration. Many of kicks are big floaters into the forward line. Imagine if he had a boot like Petracca!

Who was it that had their arms chopped by a Pie player running at full tilt the other way. Stopped a huge fwd thrust at an important time and most likely a goal. Think it was in the 1st qtr....

And why was Hogan's head bandagaed?

Ran through a bloke coming the other way in the 3rd or last quarter when the ball came inside 50. I think he copped a whack on the chin.

  4. First up, great to have a big win. It feels good to put away a team that we're expected to. Petracca, Stretch and Oliver looked awesome today.

Having said that, our backline is horrendous. A half decent side would have gone to town on us today and we were lucky they couldn't hit a barn door in the 3rd. We desperately missed Jetta's poise.

Has Dunn run over Roos' dog or something? OMac was way out of his depth today, getting out-muscled by blokes half his size.

Does Gawn need a rest? Hasn't been his dominant self lately.

fight it!!! it has to be accurate If you can prove you were somewhere else at 2.25pm, even if still om the way then you were not at the place when it states & so should be null & void.

I fought a parking fine on my own in the city courts a few years back.  said a car reversed into mine pushing mine back 7 feet. & so half out of the parking box.

The parking officer helped (I had to move my car) telling me privately, "the the MelbourneCityCouncil were worse them them", ('glen eira').

    I won.

Not sure there's any way I can prove it to be honest. Just gonna have to grin and bear it. Is it possible to pay the basards in 5c pieces?

    Ha! Good luck!

I recently got a parking fine for parking on a nature strip because construction workers building a nearby supermarket had taken the very few remaining actual spaces.

I escalated it with the council (Casey) and they said basically since I did park there, I have to pay the fine. Unavailability of legitimate parking, even in extraordinary circumstances, isn't good enough.

To make matters worse, now that the supermarket is open, the council sent us a map of the new parking zones and my boss got a fine for parking in the unrestricted zone. The parking officer made a mistake and thought it was a 2 hour zone. My boss will try to escalate it but she's not hopeful.

I guess that rules out any chance of me getting this wavered.

I got to the game at 2:25pm (remember because we were running late) and the fine says "approx infringement time 2:20pm" The bastard must have been hiding behind a tree as I parked.

This thread's a disgrace. Tom McDonald is one of our top 5 players and one of the few ones we've got who'd get a game at any club in the AFL. Like all guns, he doesn't give a stuff about the NAB Cup.

    I'm with you here.

McDonald needs to work on certain areas of his game, just like many other players on our list. I didn't see a thread directed at Dom Tyson last week after he kept getting pinged for holding the ball. He must have been done 5 or 6 times when he could have taken the first option and instead chose to try and run out of traffic.

Tom has in bag-loads what many of our past players don't have: confidence. He has also demonstrated more times than he fcks it up, that he has the skills to make the right decision and execute correctly. I am confident it will click for him. He was able to do it for 6 weeks straight last year and he will build on that this year.

Some people on this forum aren't happy unless they're moaning. Makes you wonder if that's the reason they actually follow Melbourne.
