Why does the skinniest AFL ground have +2m Astro-turf and then 2m of grass then the boundary line? Surely you sacrifice the Astro for more playing field.

Agree with Binman that it is rare coaches and afl teams call out the umpires through the media. That said, I do recall Chris Scott mentioning that the 4 umpires doesn’t work. All good. I hate not knowing the truth and can’t see any harm in it being in the open, but truth and football are both unrelated in most cases. Nope, he went up to the contest but sat front and centre then didn’t move after Gawn went back to take his kick. 100%, but it’s only going to be swept under the carpet more with the umpires considering legal action for the 7 pundits comments on the Schulz situation. There has to be a spokesperson who can be questioned and provide adequate commentary on some of the calls made and not made. The spokesperson can then in their spare time rewrite the rules to remove all grey areas - no more rule of the week, or changing interpretations in the last 5 mins.
