  1. glad we have him on the list, but as BDA said, a risk of being suspended most games (which is fine i guess, but does impact the consistency of our forward line dynamic). if he, and someone like Heath, can take turns (not play in the same team) providing a forward half chop-out at times for Gawn, and then take a key defender, without getting in the way of our other more skilled forwards, then AJ will earn his spot. bonus points if he takes out a few of those Pies..

  2. pretty poor that the guys don't have access to a toilet nearby.. which begs the question, what do our girls do? it shouldn't be the way. not a big deal if they were playing out in the sticks, but they are a professional club playing on a major arterial road with fans watching.. not good enough :-/

...so long as he's not the Alpha in the group and the others head west to join him?

nahhhh, doesn't strike me as THAT guy.. seems like a lovely kid really.

  4. as much as i believe that our forward problem has mainly been due to delivery by our mids/wingers and coaching style (surely!), i think that this led to our forward not leading correctly and also getting in each others way. a strong forward coach would have stamped that [censored] out from day one, but it somehow persisted in a professional setting.. fingers crossed something changes. i am hopeful as a hell of a lot will have changed since mid-2025.

  5. early days still, but King's energy is good stuff. love how he communicates. some humour, approachability, but also clearly demands respect. look forward to seeing him hopefully hand out the new guernseys on wednesday night to our new young fellas.

All White has done here has come in with a Sandra Sully comment... so that all of a sudden makes him a genius in your eyes?

We have all watched it happen with our own eyes and screaming for change 4 years straight now.

I like Jeff.. but he didnt tell us anything ground breaking at all to be honest.

he's been releasing stuff prior to this video.. he seems to have great insight and can unpack things for us punters. plus, he played at the highest level.. i'd argue no one has said anything ground-breaking about the Dees at this point. but what he has said in this video and in ruck-specific content before has been insightful and well worth the praise that he gets on here.

said on gettable he is a dons fan, so do we have to get ahead of them, theyve got a spot for him in the guts with hobbs delisting, straight away goes past plenty of their other options too

a dons fan you say?.. well that's certainly a mark in the 'cons' column.

I’m surprised there’s not more love for Hibbins-Hargreaves, yeah he’s got a lot to work on but he has pure class. Good size, looks a good athlete, clean hands and makes really good decisions.

Obviously needs a thorough medical and will need to have his defensive game coached up but profiles as a modern midfielder who excels in transition.

i agree, i saw him as a mid-fwd, as opposed to a medium sized forward. good but good size too.

  9. very unexcited by dovaston.. despite the need for a small, i don't think we'll select him. hopefully there's a better small in next year's draft. i'd rather get a few more mids. need foot-skills and speed and another young inside mid to grow..maybe a KPF/B if one is there at our pick and JT likes what he sees.

disappointing that he made sense... taking the easy option/less attacking option. remember in 2016-2020 when we would just over-handball (clarry in particular, but a lot of the team)? hand-balling to stationery targets and hand-balling almost for the sake of hand-balling... no sense. our coaching has been pretty ****ty (goes without saying) for a long time now.

  11. might we be about to be the biggest possible baddie and nick one of the suns' prized recruits/bid for them at 7 & 8 (if that's what we get for CP?).. I would love to become the villain at trade time instead of the 'easy beat'.

like 75% of the supporters on here and social media, i'm [censored] off that we are looking like bending over this trade period (even more than normal). SURELY, they have something planned.. SURELY. surely?.. we must be one of the most undesirable clubs going. the only positives i can see are, we play the MCG for home games and that we have Gawn and Kozzy and maybe a few POTENTIAL young stars coming up.

i had been quite positive about King's appointment, but geez.. not sure to make of things if the cards fall like we are all expecting :-/

  12. although some have said that he is not a contested player (true), i stand by the statement that he is hard at it (stands up in collisions and puts his body on the line).
