The Melbourne players have all gone home! What a deplorable effort! 13 seconds from one Hawthorn goal to the next! Has anyone told them they're supposed to play the WHOLE game!

Apart from disgraceful umpiring this is weak effort by a club that was starting to show promise. I am appalled at today's pathetic effort. So many have gone missing, can't handle the football and terrible disposal. And if Oliver handpasses blindly over his head once more they should drop him too!

This would have to be the most insipid and frustrating effort I have watched from this group for a long time. I'm sorry Roosy but "end of season" excuses against the bottom team is a load of crap!
