It was quite noticeable, one minute they were pulling stuff out of their backsides, then all of a sudden whistle went to sleep and the game was umpired from a "only pay the obvious" perspective. Much better approach I reckon

I hear what you are saying, but my expectation as that we play with the same intent and aggression for the next 3 games as that will take care of the result.

A few weeks back there was the suggestion that he plays part time in the ruck in combo with Watts or Pedo etc and spends the rest of the time as either CHF or Ff. I like this thought as it forces him to compete (i.e. Ruck contest) and then back up his ruck work around the ball, in effect teaching him what we need him doing doing forward. Sure he may be bloody tired doing this, but it will build his tank rapidly and get him into the games when he is in one of those moods.

If this is how a "spud" can play, I want a few more in the side. Perhaps those that called him that on here could suggest a few more around the AFL that we could draft at years end?
