As Nev mentioned, 6 clangers 60% disp eff from a 7 kick 24 handball game is not super.

I’ve been critical of Harmes, didn’t like the decision to bring him in, but I was wrong, if his disposal efficiency was down, it was because he was under pressure. Played well, kept us in it in the end.

  2. One thing on our side, we back our defensive 6 in so much, we keep a spare at the contest, not behind the ball. Helps us immensely.

Fritta was putrid, the rest did what they needed. Jordan was good for a young fella.

Go Dees. Suck eggs Feral South’s supporters, back to the wharfs for you on Monday.

It's the double standards for me. I don't have a problem with the suspension, if it was consistent.

Either we suspend on outcome or we don't. Hawkins didn't get suspended as it was 'accidental contact', but he broke May's eye socket. Fritsch was just as much in play, player had 0 injuries and played out the game, but Fritsch gets one.

How the impact is medium is beyond me. Playing the game out is no impact!

Hawkins was looking the other way, Fritsch had eyes on the player, that’s the difference

Because there is a lesson out of all this..

Don't write off first year's players immediately after watching one game. It shows a great level of disrespect on a young 18 year old trying to find his way in the AFL system in their first year.

This is why I'm really happy having Jake Bowey just quietly developing his game at Casey ( and playing really well too). Melbourne of 4 years ago would see the likes of Bowey and Laurie playing round 1 immediately.

Look at James Jordon. Spent the last two years developing his game in the VFL and is now a walk up best 22 and making an immediate impact in the best team in the team as we speak.

Hey Dazzle. It wasn’t really in reference to the discussion above. But for years, we have stewed over the likes of Kelly and Wines. Sometimes it borders on obsession. I agree,  some are way to quick to write players off. Some players need time, a new position or even better support from team mates playing their roles.

  5. I still don’t understand the need to go back and revisit and review old drafts.. who did what and who could have been. We should just be grateful and humble that we are now getting more right that we are wrong.

For the love of God, yes. I can't fathom how he continues to get a game.

He won’t be dropped as Fritta will get a week, so need a midsize forward
