  1. It isn't lying, rather it is being creative with the truth. Redleg, are there any new topics you'd like to introduce to this thread?
  2. Mgdee, my thinking is similar to your own on this. Bitter, on the 3 days permitted by your doctor you drink red wine, on the other four days you drink fruit juice (just neglect to mention to Doc thay it is of the fermented grape variety). This way, in essence, you are telling the truth, and Doc is happy. A win-win for all concerned - the perfect solution.
  3. We are a diverse and unique lot, Redleg, capable of discussing a myriad of topics.
  4. Duly noted.
  5. As to your question, Canada (not Canadia - damn you James Brayshaw) is the chapeau hat. Using your analogy, maybe Mexico could be the southern hat.Sounds like the lads are pretty selective about the company you keep.
  6. From what I've heard about your business dealings at the Gat, I'm not sure I want to know what you did to earn the enforced sabatical.
  7. I've also heard it referred to as America's hat, Bitter. Wondered where you'd gone to. As I hadn't seen Biffen posting for a bit, wondered if you two had gotten up to some sort of hijinks and ended up in the clink.
  8. Let's hope he doesn't choose this type of snazzy outfit...
  9. I think I've found the perfect ensemble for Frog to wear when you gents head to the local watering hole, Jazza.
  10. Maybe that is what scared him Bitter. That, or he is off to the local shuffleboard tournament.
  11. Frog, if you are looking for new interests, I hear that those Europeans have some unique and obscure sports. Or you could take up line-dancing.
  12. Jazza, a little birdy told me they thought they witnessed you getting arrested at Woodstock back in the day as an underager. Confirm or deny?
  13. Your world is a very unique place.
  14. Bad idea, Moonshadow. From reading the posts on this thread, one of two things would likely happen - Frog would mysteriously 'disappear' or Frog would drive Bitter 'round the bend and straight to the asylum.
  15. Jazza, should I really be taking advice from someone who frequents the Gat so much? Not sure that is a great idea...
  16. I totally agree with your wife Frog.
  17. Butterscotch biscotti Bailey's then?
  18. And too much coffee.
  19. Only thing better is ice cream for breakfast. With a healthy splash of bailey's, if you prefer your ice cream in the more traditional dessert slot.
  20. Haven't frightened me off yet. Even if Frog & Song's photo collections nearly did.
  21. Want something to get your adrenaline going? Try polar bear wrestling or, in my brother's case, getting chased by a moose.
  22. Jazza, I'm under the age limit you identified. Am I still able to post to this thread? Btw, how old is Old Dee?
  23. Nothing wrong with that!
  24. Some of the posts in this thread are rather strange and confusing. And yet, I can't seem to look away.
  25. Okay then......
