  1. God forbid anyone comment something negative about Nic Nat, the AFL has this freakish idea of him. Watts has gone far past Nic Nat, Nic Nat is rubbish
  2. Whilst all are fantastic. Tomlinson would not walk for pick 18-21. I'd say that well have to sweeten the deal, he's a gun
  3. I am not sure what to make of the Hogan issue anymore. It seems like there are 3 different stories going on. 1. Melbourne football club so called "injury list" 2. That twit Barrett 3. The rest of the media It is doing my head in
  4. Absolutely perfect mate. Also, he is 19 and we should not be placing too much emphasis on him turning out to be the next big thing. We over pressured Watts in the beginning and Jesse does not need this
  5. Pick 2 and 20 for Orourke and Jasksh and 3rd rounder?
  6. I agree, he is in danger of being delisted when his contract is over
  7. Because i watched his highlight package, very solid overhead. Very athletic. Just havent seen him play live
  8. After such a rubbish effort last week, he did not deserve to be in the team. The rest of the boys need to pick their act up. Also isnt the tackle machine Cross? he loves a good tackle
  9. SALEM Cant wait to wait to see this class act Salivating already
  10. I am glad we both see eye to eye on this. He has shown more this year then i have seen from Jack.
  11. Try hard comedy festival, absolutely classic
  12. Ohh i dont disagree, we definitely should'nt have subbed off Tyson. But Jetta and Terlich were far worse than Watts. In the first half i remember Terlich running with the footy, under a small amount of pressure. Kicks it out on the full 30 rows back. Seriously that should've been enough of a sign. Jack needs to work harder, but we still need him. If he can rack up 17+ disposals each week then it will make him into a good footballer. If jack turns a corner in the way he runs on the field, he will turn into a 25 disposal player. But at the moment he is progressing
  13. Firstly, that is absolute rubbish. The GWS and West Coast game was not soft... Forget the dropped mark against West Coast because that is a skill error, which is not Jack's issue. He absolutely needs to become harder, i must agree with that. But some of this is just way too harsh. I am not hoping that he is dropped because we literally have no one to use the footy. If Jack gets the ball 20 times, that could potentially change the game. We cannot survive without his vision, ability to make time and ball use. You need to seriously think about what he actually provides Melbourne. Also a perfect set shot. "Wouldnt get a game at any other club": ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH
  14. I didnt think Tmac was bad last year? I am a big fan, except im not a fan of his kick
  15. Absolutely!! God forbid he looked keen and got 8 disposals, he'd be considered a no hoper. Jack will come good and he has started the year well. I am convinced Sunday was a once off and im sure he has been spoken to about certain bits of play that look pretty soft.
  16. It is no longer about being pick 1. That ship has long long sailed. It's been over 5 years. Ofcourse his hunger needs to improve and obviously i'd like to see his numbers improve. But if you take sunday out, then his season has been fine, very instrumental in the Carlton game, along with Saints and GWS game in the wet
  17. While you're correct in everything you're saying, this still comes back to my main point and against your point. He is not worthy of being dropped and his numbers have improved this year. Your point was initially that he should be dropped and i still do not agree with you. He is still a while away from being a great player and sincerely hope he becomes one, but he has made inroads this year
  18. Would love to see him in the red and blue next year, would be a jet in the forward line
  19. They have been a steady decline, but that does not mean a thing. He changed his position from round 1 onwards, considering we literally had no forward line. I have never said i am fine with with accepting mediocrity. But i can accept one bad game. Please tell me what you're expecting from him, "statistically" because that all you seem to be focusing on .. ?
  20. I remember seeing Orouke and thinking he's special. GWS just cant find all of them in the team. O'Keefe could be on his way to Melbourne if Sydney doesnt want him, or he is disgruntled. Roos would take him with open arms, as would the Melbourne Football Club. Jaksch would also be a solid pick, havent seen too much of him. I want Josh Jenkins though!
  21. Yes, if you drew me a graph, based on YOUR opinion. I am sure you are also guilty or bashing him since he came to the club. While i thought his efforts on sunday were absolutely shocking, the rest of his games in my opinion have been fine-good. I am not sure what you were expecting, a new position, no forward line. 25 possessions, 2 goals, 10 marks and 10 tackles? If you take sunday out of the equation, his season has been fine. Certainly not worthy of being dropped.
  22. But he didnt go backwards against GWS and Carlton. GWS he had to play forward, in a wet game. To kick 2 goals when we barely kicked any was a success. He did his job very very well. 18 disposals and 2 goals in the wet is very solid. The carlton game i thought he actually played very well and kicked 2 goals. Statistically, he didnt touch the ball very many times, but he also didnt play midfield, still managed 4 tackles. You're right though, he needs to lift. But im still conceding that it's only been one really bad match for the year, and that is acceptable, it happens.
  23. I think the Jewish mother joke is perfectly adequate (Im Jewish). Jewish mothers driving make me want to duck and take cover
  24. As crazy as this sounds, i wouldnt hate this. I'd be shattered to lose hogan though
