If the statement that Ross Lyons is not a development type coach is true. What possible value would he have at the MFC? The MFC will be in team development for the next four or five seasons as it rebuilds its player list. I would agree however that an experienced coach is much better than a rookie one any day of the week. Plus week need a coach that will win lots of flags before OD passes away or starts supporting the Western Bulldogs.

It is my understanding that Ross is not a development type coach. He is best with sides that are already for finals. IMO we should not bother recruiting him.
