  1. One day you accept Mactcha Drinks instead of Banana based ones, next thing you're a Collingwood supporter. Once you start down the dark side you don't know where it will end. It's better to stay in the light and not listen to others who are peddling misinformation.
  2. So you support another 57 year plan by Melbourne?
  3. LOL there is no prizes for being second
  4. One senior coach has just been appointed (West Perth) and another one to go (Melbourne)!
  5. It's just we have another 57 year plan for our next Premiership. So we can afford another 56 years of underperforming with our the need to change the plan.
  6. Does it come in a Suger Free version?
  7. There is only one song that I know the words and can sing loudly! And that is ITS A GRAND OLD FLAG. Is there any other song I need to know?
  8. I did make a Banana 🍌 Smoothie 🥤 for dinner last night. When Corporations fail us, we have to adapt.
  9. Banana Ice Cream would be great but I only wanted a Banana Smoothie 😔
  10. I tried to buy a Banana Blitz (Muzz Buzz) but unfortunately they run out of Bananas AGAIN. Life can be so cruel as both my football teams are disappointing me and I can't buy a Banana Drink. I blame Uncle Bitters as he's left us all to suffer on our own!
  11. Now I am reading that Nathan Buckley is the front runner for the senior coaching role at Melbourne. I said it many times before NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM COLLINGWOOD!
  12. OMG I see a few media articles about Melbourne possibly recruiting James Hird as senior coach. Not sure how likely 🤔 this is, but if it happens, I would need to find another AFL club to support. Surely there much better coaching options out there?
  13. Well I heard Nathan Buckley and Mark Needle are both available.
  14. Uncle Bitters has likely taken time off to have his spikes polished and new make-up applied.
  15. On the same weekend, I had West Perth 6 goals lead at half time and Melbourne had a 46 point lead at three-quarter time. Both teams lost their games. So I can feel your pain. IMO it's a good thing both teams are looking for a new head coach. So Red you need to embrace the light and support the search for a new coach. Although our issues are not just with the former senior coach.
  16. Red, glad to see that you're still posting.
  17. OMG someone suggested Nathan Buckle as our next coach, FIGJAM himself. My number one rule in recruitment is NO ONE from Collingwood, EVER. They want to bring back Mark Needle next!
  18. Finally, some good news 😁 the Board has made the correct decision. Now don't stuff up the recruitment of the next Senior Coach. Both my teams have been rubbish for a few seasons now, and both are in the market for a new Senior Coach. At least this is the first step in healing the supporters pain.
  19. The Eagles came last in both the AFL and WAFL! This season is not a total disappointment.
  20. I wish I could drink such a wonderful thing! But we lost to East Perth on the weekend after being about 5 goals in the lead at half time at our home ground in Joondalup. Nothing taste any good after this horror!
  21. Sounds like the 57 year plan we had for our last flag. The danger with losing is it becomes the norm. Better to have a winning culture and it makes recruiting and retention of top players much easier. Not to mention the impact on the clubs supporters and revenue generation.
  22. I was going to respond to your post in a passionate thoughtful way. But currently, I have lost interest as the club appears not interested in making the hard decisions 🤔 to become successful again. The club is achieving a worst performance each season since 2021. This includes the lost of four final games in a row, this was when the club was able to play finals. I get the feeling, the club will take awhile before it can play finals again. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening with my WAFL team. Life just sucks, but the Coach was replaced and the team is playing better. Baby steps. I suspect there must be a few internal issues happening in the club and the recruitment of a CEO who has no industry experience and was in no rush to take on the role will not help!
  23. Its a Grand Old Flag is also the club song for West Perth (WAFL). Which is a good thing as I only need to remember one song for both my AFL and WAFL teams. I just a simple country boy after all. To be honest, when I stopped supporting the Eagles back in 1998 because they started the host club arrangement in the WAFL. I started supporting Melbourne because it was red and blue, the same colours as West Perth. So I don't sing the Dees song, I was singing the Falcons (West Perth) song. Which I love to do after a win. You should have heard me singing the song when we beat the Fremantle Dockers Reserve WAFL side (PEEL Thunder) two weeks before under our new coach. My dislike for the Eagles and Dockers is strong as they have damaged the WAFL by making super teams. They have all the current AFL players with a ton of coaches. Last season PEEL won the flag, I wonder why?
  24. J Hunt a former Melbourne player, was playing Reserves for the Eagles on Saturday. They lost but he was third best on ground for the Eagles. So I got to sing It's a Grand Old Flag again.
  25. I can live with that. Never been a big fan of midseason coaching changes.
