  1. I listened. Sadly this was not what I wanted to hear from either party. United we stand divided we fall. Never air your dirty laundry in public.

Exactly when we need unity amongst all Melbourne supporters what do we get. Neither party ever wins an argument, its exactly what our opposition what us to do ... fight amongst ourselves.

Well sorry I'm not taking sides. I prefer to look for the positives and remind myself all Melbourne supporters want the same thing ... success.

Lets talk the positives ... Lets listen learn and unite for a common cause. Lets get behind Dean Bailey and the boys.

  2. Its obvious too me we have many passionate Demons supporters at this forum. Its time we harnessed some of this passion.

Personally instead of arguing I would prefer to look for the positives.

I want to help in any way I can.

Can anybody give me a contact at the football club were I can offer some of my time.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. I had high hopes for CJ. It will be interesting to see what role he plays within the team in 2008. Personally I can't see him playing midfield and he failed whenever Daniher tried him forward. I think he is consigned to playing half back, where he has played very well for Sandringham.

If he can't play HBF, he won't make it.

IMHO CJ should be played in the same type role as his father. Running back-pocket.

  4. Wishing CAC personally all the best. Thank you for your many years of great service to the MFC.

Think you might be facing some mighty big challenges at the "Tankers" with "Snakey" Miller & "Sun Tan" Terry.

Should be very interesting if they choose to "manage" another season.

However, a five year deal is a five year deal .... isn't it!!!!!

  5. Cotchin is the pick of that bunch

My mail is next best option by a mile is MASTEN.

I know he has OP but my info comming ot of the West is he is better than Palmer & Morton

Word coming out the west is Masten would be a huge risk ... he is a one-eyed Eagle ... think he works for them.

If we took him good chance we would have a Judd in reverse in 2 years.

  6. now we have picks

Pick 4 - Best player available - lets pray its Cotchin

Pick 14 - KP Forward/Back - We might be pleasantly surprised

Pick 21 - KP Back/Forward - Take opposite to above

Pick 53 - CAC Famous "Smokie"

Pick 69 - PASS or Recycled Player depending who is avaliable

    Pick 85 - PASS

    and 3 in the PSD.

  7. I propose this trade.

Chris Johnson and fourth round draft pick for St Kilda's second round draft pick.

That way we'll get about pick 28?? which will satisfy Adelaide's requirements in the Meeson trade.

Currently Adelaide want our second round pick (too high says Melb) while we are only prepared to offer 3rd round pick (too low says Adel)

Why on earth do we have to do a trade to secure a player that does NOT want to play for the crows.

Since when did beggars become choosers!

The crows set the precedent with Thompson ... its called "Reaping what you Sow" or "Do un to others what they do to You"

  8. Never......

I guess that is the difference between a few of us around here, because as long as he is still in Demon colours I will never give up on him. Ever.

You can come back and call me silly or that my attitude will be a fruitless exercise if you like, but that is exactly where I stand.

Right behind all our boys. And I will only stop being concerned about and hoping for Miller (or any other player on our list) when the club tells me to.

    And not a moment before.

    I'm with you 100%.

I think toooooo many idiots get on here and belittle our players.

Same idiots that get on the radio and come up with all these no sense no idea trades.

When you trade ... you trade to improve your position NOT just to be seen to be doing something.

    QeenC I'm with you.

  9. And we also lost pick 18 as well which would have been very handy. Even without Judd we would have been far better off. I note our Coach is now an assistant at Carlton, hmmmm !

IMHO Mark Riley was a very, very costly decision. Could have set this club back 3-4 years.

  10. Wilson is nothing but a Tiger stooge. Lets face it its in the Tigers interest if he does choose Collingwood.

Collingwood is the team most unlikely to get the deal done with the Eagles ... hence the pre season draft becomes an option.

  11. I love how they talk about the MCG being a big factor, but don't talk about Melbourne.

We played 12 games at the MCG this year, to Collingwood's 15. Next year, we're likely to play one more with the end of the Brisbane deal.

That's 13 vs. 15. We also happen to have our headquarters at the MCG, and are the ground's original tenants. But because we are Melbourne, we don't get a mention. This is exactly why we need Judd, so that we can stop being so damn insignificant!

Lets not forget the writing on the wall in the new MCG stand ... every time I go up those escalators my heart beats red & blue.
