  1. Yes but does it have the authentic sounds of knives and forks clattering and waiters getting in the way.
  2. Video of his speech coming soon.
  3. As Jimmy's speech is on the Herald Sun site and can be viewed here, I will only post the video of Mark Neeld's speech at the 2011 Best & Fairest Awards Night. Here it is. Excuse the poor quality and sound of knives and forks and all the waiters running around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubc4Tk5XTPs
  4. Video of Jimmy's and Neeld's speeches to follow later tonight when I get home and upload to You Tube.
  5. Worked it out. Click the icon to the left of the Font drop down box. Select Media or any of the other options and paste the link to You Tube or other video source. Click OK.
  6. Looks like you did.
  7. That's strange. I never had an issue on the iPad.
  8. I have found out why it is. If you want to create a link write what you want linked. In this example I will use the words click here. Write Click Here and highlight it with your mouse. Then click on Insert link icon and the web address pop up will pop up. Write or paste your link in and the words Click Here will appear like this: Click Here
  9. I guess it depends on your monitor size and in turn the size of the window you are using to display the page. IPB definitely use a fluid width. Even a fluid with will produce a scroll bar if the window size is small. see here:
  10. Sorry about that but I'm juggling work, a 4 week old, a 3 year old, demonland and a life. Really very sorry for ignoring you amongst all that. To answer your query the board is already set as fluid and not fixed.
  11. How big is the image you are trying to upload? Maybe it is too large. Is it just a normal sized avatar image? Perhap you can post the link to the image you want.
  12. I will be introducing a mobile theme in the coming weeks. I just wanted to nail down the web theme first which also looks great on the iPad. The mobile theme should look great on the iPhone. Stay tuned.
  13. I was going to send you off a personal thank you as I have been doing for all of those who have generously donated to the running and maintaining of this site. Thank you.
  14. I was taking a look around on the ipb (forum software) site and apparantly this is a new type of post text editor so maybe there will be an minor update to correct this in the future. It is the same text editor that is used in vbulletin boards now as well so is probably the standard in message board editors.
  15. See the top quote in this post which was my work around for this issue.
  16. Just a quick note - Please try not to use Internet Explorer to use this site. It is doing a whole range of funny and funky stuff and it is not a safe browser anyway. My main gripe is that when you are logged in in the posts the username of the poster is dropping off the line it is meant to be on and is nearly covering the avatar. I have no idea why this is happening as it is not happening in any other browser on the same platform. I have now had a chance to use the site on Windows 7 (as I only have XP at work and Macs at home) and I must say that Internet Explorer is just terrible. IE 9 on Windows 7 is much better than IE8 on XP but not by much. It is mainly better in the smoothness of the text when compared to XP. In my experience testing the past few days. Windows 7 (using FireFox and Chrome) is far superior to XP (using the same) which is no surprise. I haven't tried Vista but WindowS 7 is most likely better. But I must say it all looks better on a Mac. Anyway enough of that lecture. Moral of the story is DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER TO VIEW THIS SITE! Firefox and Chrome are FREE and SAFER and can be installed in a matter of minutes by anyone and you can view this website without any issues. I will not be attempting to correct or seek a correction to an error that is only showing up in Internet Explorer.
  17. Add your link normally and it will appear underlined. Then click the icon in the top left of the posting editor. When the mouse is over it says "Toggle Editing Mode". Click that and it brings up the Coding. Change the second appearance of the web address to the text that you want to display and then Post. Long way around but it will have to suffice until or if it get changed in a future update. Eg: This (without the spaces after the [ and before the =): [ url =http://www.demonland.com]demonland To this: demonland
  18. Could you elaborate? Not sure what you mean. http://www.demonland.com
  19. It's back now. There is a link at the top called Subscriptions. Click here: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/subscriptions/
  20. The main problem is that I'm finding whilst trying to troubleshoot things is that different browsers and different platforms and different devices display things differently and it is a pain in the butt trying to make everyone on every possible device/platform/browser happy - including myself. Eg: The issue above where the name of the topic starter under the topic title appears larger than the topic title is like that on the iPhone but appears perfectly fine on my Mac in all browsers, that is, the Topic Title is in a larger font than the person who started underneath it. Very frustrating. Nothing I can do about that. I will leave it the way it is because it is easier to zoom on the iPhone.
  21. No promises. I might not be able to be done but I will try.
  22. I'll investigate whether this can be changed.
  23. I was trying to do that today (make them more prominent) but ran out of time. I'll try again later. It is on the to do list.
  24. Yes I changed something else today and it also made the person who created the thread bigger. Will change back later.
  25. I'm working on it now so it is under construction
