I think we may win against WCE

Hi All,

I have been impressed with the players over teh last couple of weeks. They have shown great endeavour and commitment. As they have said themselves, a 10-15 min patch has cost them the games. I think it is not realistic to say we will make the finals and I think th eplayers themselves may admit that. That is why I think they may win this week. It would be great if Melbourne could be the first team to beat the Eagles at their home ground for some time. It will be a great launching pad for next year and a tremedous boost for the young boys. We will also have players coming back (although I would rather rest them if not 100% - especially Rivers who apparently has a bad back - no point him sitting on a plane for 4 hrs or so).

I have heard a couple of players already say this is an opportunity to show what the team can do. Sure they are instructed to say this but I just have a feeling they may do it. May be worth a bet this week.

GO DEMONS

PS. For what its worth, Bell v Judd, Godfrey v Kerr ( will really annoy Kerr).

PPS. If Cox misses I will be really excited but our luck this year is shocking so I expect him to return.

PPPS. Expect Miller to be out injured and Holland to play CHF (not sure if I am happy about it but I think this is what is going to happen).
