Light hearted Banter..."Watts" in a name ?

I am very disappointed in the way the Dees are playing this year and I am thinking of asking “Jack Watts” going on.

I could go down to the coach's office and “Bail” up Mark Neeld..He surely should have some idea. I would imagine that may mean spending a lot of time on the “Couch” trying to get the correct answers there.

I imagine I would have to open a few more “Dawes” before I get to the bottom of this. I have noticed Shannon “Byrnes” around the ground from time to time trying to get a kick without a great deal of success and I have seen Lynden's “Dunn” a few good things occasionally but many times manages to deliver the ball to an opposition player.

Nathan often gets the ball and sends it on to a vacant forward line probably thinking “where has Max Gawn”

I would like to ask Jeremy “Howe” he feels climbing so high into the air only to land back on the ground and discover he has no one to kick the ball to,

Good “Evans” Michael, give him a lead. I have many times noticed James attempt to “Sellar” dummy to an opponent only to be tied up and dragged to the ground.

Supporters get frustrated when they see David “Rodan” other bump but lost the ball....another turnover !! or Chris leads out and calls Sam ,“Blease” kick it to me only to see the ball fly straight over his head and out on the full.

So many things going wrong this year...so frustrating for us all..It may be time to “Tapscott” Clayton on the shoulder and offer him a recruiting job.. I think maybe give “Clark Kent” a call

What can we do ?? Crying doesn't help !!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
