OK, so they are woefully bad, Neeld is out of his depth, the whole club is rotten from top to bottom.

Despite this, I am always going to support this team, in its current format or in any other, until the day I die.

I have mates who fought to "Keep South at South", but did they abandon the Swans after they went to Sydney ??? No way. They stuck through thin and thin and are now riding high.

Being loyal to this team is a test of character. Don't fail that test.

Loyalty is a two way street .

Last night mine was tested to Breaking Point

It started with the MCG and Parking it was a absolute disgrace the way it was handled and I will not drive up again to See Melbourne play it just ain't worth the Angst .

We didn't get into the ground until the 1st Quarter had started though we where there 3/4 of a hour near the MCG before the game was to commence .

But even so listening on the radio whilst waiting to get into the game, the first quarter sounded bad

I didn't realise how bad it was till we actually got into the ground then we saw the second and the third quarter which were a absolute DEE'sgrace !!!!

So here you have it, Loyalty . I drive over a hour to get too the ground , I bring two of my kids with me who were bought up to barrack for Melbourne.

But what for ?? To sit through the Crap we endured ! To watch a Football Club, My Football club put on a insipid performance that even our local football club could probably beat . To put up with the Rancid Essendon Supporters Flogging all and every Melbourne supporter within reach with their crap

I cant comment on the booing off of the team as I had left the game at 3/4 Time as I wasn't going to submit my kids to anymore of what we were seeing .

A Insipid, Uninspired, Lack lustre , Disinterested, Unaccountable, Genuine Lack of effort being displayed on behalf of the MFC by the players themselves

At this stage I am not prepared to blame the coach I feel this had nothing to do with the coach it comes from within the players themselves a lack of pride in their jumper and no self belief in themselves. As the old saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink , this adage sums up Melbourne at the moment

No doubt Essendon was Brilliant on the night and showed true endeavour at all times but that was only highlighted by how bad we played.

We on the other hand on ( our players that is , may have all been sitting on the bench for the difference they didn't make by being on the ground ! )

Neeld needs to test them as we are being Sorely tested . He needs to find out who is prepared to put in the effort to show that they themselves are prepared to show their fans the endeavour needed to prove their Loyalty to us the supporters who barrack and support our Club week in week out.

I will excuse a Few players Jones , Viney, Howe and even Davey ( some signs of the old Flash ) and Clark (mainly because the ball didn't get near him)

The rest an Emphatic NO !

Some ex Geelong players shouldn't even be on the ground .!

So there you have it , to me Loyalty is a Two way Street and so far it has been all one way traffic from us with nothing in return from the players!

Maybe Neeld and the Melbourne Football Club should allow one Supporter a week to directly address the players and let them now how they feel about the way they played.!

Last Night I was gutted , I will still support Melbourne because I have been a supporter since I was a kid, but for now Ill just watch it on TV, at least then I don't have to put up with the crap dealt out to us both on the ground and from supporters of the other Clubs.

Its Going to be a long, long , Season and all supporters will have their loyalties tested.!

I have no doubt there will be some blood letting if this continues !!!

We can no longer accept the excuse we are rebuilding the team, that excuse has well passed its use, by date.

This is more like the creating the destruction of the MFC rather than the re building of a Club.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
