Photos and signage for AAMI Park

I am not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I came across the photographs below on Schwabby's Twitter page, which shows the proposed photoboards that will adourn the walls of our admin offices at AAMI park. For those that haven't seen them, here they are:

Hope those links work. As Cam says on Twitter they are a work in progress, but so far I think they look great and will give us an identity at the new facility. Something the clubs admin offices have lacked for as long as I can remember.

Other than this, does anyone know what other signage we will get down at AAMI. I went past the other day and noticed that there was an MFC monogram inside the door to the offices. Perhas the photoboard will be placed around the Monogram. I still noticed that we don't have any visible signage outside the Stadium. Does anyone know if we will eventually have some sort of logo/sign identifying our offices.

I was also a little dissapointed that a large sign has been erected which has 'AAMI PARK' home of...."Storm, Victoy..." but does not list us. I realise that it is not our home, but surely we would be entitle to something along the lines of "And incorporating the offices of the MFC" with our logo alongside those other sporting clubs.

If anyone has heard any whispers, please let us know.

what else did you see? The Monogram on the wall? Is that the fron reception? Off Batman Ave?

its near the kitchen area :)

saw all the grand final cups look great nice and shiny

The Truscott Shield is at the front of reception

It is quite clear walking across the crossing where our office is. Something on the glass door (can't remember what.) Door was locked - can't just walk in. Rattled the door but no response. Premiership cups quite visible through the glass door. Kitchen is actually a cafe which is open to the public.

Still work being done - another room at the front which I believe is ours is not finished yet. still being fitted out.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
