Premium membership packages

Hey guys,

i've been a general admission member for 2 years and am thinking about upgrading to the trident membership for 2010.

just wanted to hear from people who already have them. Is the reserved seating on level 2 of the olympic just for melbourne supporters?

what are the exclusive bars like?

what is the hassett room, and how does the meeting the players in there after the game work?

what was the premium members function like this year?

i'm basically just after more ammo to throw back at the missus as to why we should be spending close to a grand next year

i'm already sold

thanks in advance!!

Trident members have the option of Reserved seating in Bays N13 - N9 in Southern Stand or N52 - N48 in Olympic Stand. Members only. Seats in the Olympic stand are meant to be under cover but as the roof is so high up it depends which way the rain is coming. Bar behind the seats - standing area from which quite a few watch game outside the window. Next to the room where the President's lunch is held. Players sit in N 53. Seats in Southern Stand from Row 5 back are guaranteed to be dry.

Meal & drinks are available in the Hassett Room pre game. This year there was often a director to speak to members at half time. Usually 3 players (who did not play in the days game) who come back to the room. They are interviewed by Mike Anderson (the host) sign a few autographs & leave. All over by 5,30 but a good atmosphere. Car park is clear or walk to the station not so crowded.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Jez,

I haven't got this years membership packages yet and I do get the bars behind the seats etc being an MCC but if you want to spend the G with the club I reckon there are better ways of spending it.

Upgrade the membership to the next level but go to the gala ball and a presidents lunch (195 each) as the money still goes to the club and I think they are great events... The social membership did allow you to the bar after the game with players coming down and from memory was only a hundred extra on your ticket

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
