Kids Day at the G again?

Featured Replies

Hello all...

The Fremantle Melbourne game was publicized last year in the papers with us needing 20,000 at the G to break even...

Now I know there were 19,000 there, however I think Paul Macnamee deserves some credit because he was able to get the MCC/MCG to allow us onto the ground after the game...

The day was advertised as Kids Day. I have no doubt that this worked to increase the crowd size on the day and I hope that either this week or in a coming week, the board continues on with that initiative like they said that they would at the beginning of the season.

This week is being advertised as Wear Your Jumper Day, which I think is a good initiative, but I dont think it will help increase crowd size...

thoughts?...

dpes anyone know if there will be a chance for fans to go onto the ground this week or another week...most likely a sunday?

Yeah I think it will look good for the die hard Melbourne fans there but seriously do something soon advertise pleaseeeeeee just get 20,000. Its not a big ask. Geez we`re poor. Can`t even get 20,000 to a AFL match with a capacity stadium of 100,000 please oh ohhhh pleaseeeeee prove me wrong. I want every dees fan going mental to for Jimmy. This weeks theme is "DO IT FOR JIM".
