Yes, and the ACL did not affect his game... the broken arm did and yet he still managed reasonable stats considering. You asked the question of Stuie about what kind of season LeCras had... I decided it was worth pointing out.

And considering you were rubbishing Stuie's understanding of AFL as he was suggesting he would rather LeCras over Betts, you might like to know that Betts 2013 stats are considerably worse than LeCras'... averaging 10 possessions, 2.5 marks and kicking 17 goals at an average of 1.5.

I was actually asking little Stuie what LeCras stats where for the season because I wasnt aware you simpleton .
  2. Considering he broke his arm early on and has played much of the season with it in a protective casing, while averaging 16 possessions, 5.1 marks (career best) and kicking 25 goals (just under 2 goals a game), I would say not too bad at all.

    So similar stats to Howe.
  3. I'm guessing it would cost the same as getting Betts... Especially seeing as Carlton wouldn't want to give up they're only performing forward.

Tell you what mate, if Le Cras doesn't play well this year I'll change my name here to stupid for a month, if he does then, well you won't have to change yours as it's synonymous with stupidity.

Little Stuies what type of season has LeCras had.
  4. Anyone that can kick a footy like Toumpas will play 200 games, he's in a [censored] side with little support, if spuds like Trengove , Blease and Strauss where playing like we thought they would we wouldn't be in this position, the kid will be elite with the skills he has.

  5. Agreed, I'm a Toumpas fan and I think today was his best game.

He reminds me a bit of Trapper in that he seems to have a cool head and invariably uses it well by foot.

Great game from the kid, hes already better than Trengove, i would put JT on the trade table, he offers very little and is just not up to it.

  6. For your sake I hope you are a bit smarter by then, though I doubt it. No need to reply you are about to join the other [censored] on my ignore list and you have to be pretty stupid to get on there.

your the new Rhino Richards, put me on your ignore list you stupid old fossil.
  7. So you're clearly another [censored] who subscribes to the 'you don't know what you're talking about if you haven't played AFL before'.

No I'm the one who said that I think they would have more of a clue, which wouldn't be hard, than a fwit like you.

One of the only benefits of a world where only AFL players could comment on football would be your absence from it.

I think this board would benefit more without the know it all [censored] that spills from your mouth.

If you wish to go down the 'he's had a better first year, therefore he's going to be a better player' route, then go for it, but history has shown that the start a player makes to their career doesn't always reflect the career overall.

Tell that to Judd, Fyfe, Jonathan Brown etc.. You're obviously one who thinks(?) that if a player starts his career well it's all down hill after that.

I can cope with a Wines/Toumpas comparison, but not as much with a 'Wines is better than Toumpas' whinge.

What you can't cope with is someone having a different opinion to you; get used to it.

Christ fancy you complaining about different opinions, you should practice what you preach, I hope when I finally get to your age that I'm more level headed than you.

Stuie and stupid are pretty close.

  9. Haha who said anything about paying millions? Yeah let's just pass on a superstar cos he's coming back from an injury 18 months before we'd go after him...

They're both the same age, but Betts has been the sole true forward option for a decent performing team and Le Cras for a very poor but then very good team. In their last 3 seasons Betts has kicked 150, Le Cras has kicked 168. As a crumbing forward i don't think the ACL he's coming back from (after having the full operation and recovery, no short cuts) will hinder him like it would a high leaping big forward. If you look at their output there's not a huge difference, so to bag someone's footy knowledge for edging out Le Cras over Betts is stupidity, which is your usual standard.

Ones coming back from a serious knee injury and the others fully fit, your posts reeks of stupidity, there both great players stuie but a healthy fit non injured Betts destroys a an ACL riddled Le Cras any day of the week, and by the way how much do you think it would cost us to get him to move from the Eagles?

  10. Can't see Milne having a positive effect on our culture. Le Cras would be my pick out of those 3, if he was in a Vic team he would get even more attention and be classed a no-doubt superstar.

Yeah lets pay Millions for a guy thats just done an ACL, Betts all day long, you have limited knowledge of AFL Stuie.
