  1. Raises a hypothetical- Would you trade Watts for Gibbs? I know I would.
  2. I am a hacker, and have multiple ways of accessing your metadata, and can categorically assure you that you are in fact a [censored].
  3. Can't be bothered to learn how to put together GIFs, and get embarrassed asking Song to do it for me, so: Off topic: It was so encouraging to see so many young (20-30 y.o.) MFC supporters (and hopefully members) wearing jerseys, scarves, etc. on the way out of the ground on Friday night. Certainly not having a go at our older members, but I think that time-slot is much more conducive to our younger supporters than Sunday arvos.
  4. Yeah, you're right. I've overstepped the line. I sincerely apologize. Have a good one.
  5. Well, don't keep us in suspense, what is your first favourite prime number then?
  6. Nah mate, not a troll, just someone who has finally grown sick of the way you try to denigrate any discussion on this forum that may be critical of club or player. And, unlike others, I won't attack you personally, as I have all ready told you that I respect the work you do for the club (I bought raffle tickets from you on Family Day, you silly bugger). And the post quoted above is good, because it is not pure arse kissing, but actually considers the issue at hand with some sense of objectivity.
  7. TDI doesn't operate on 'gut feel'; he deals strictly in 'facts'. He will get back to you sometime in the future, when he has had time to mull over, entirely dismiss, and then warp your 'opinion' to suit the message that he wishes to convey. Either that or he will 'ask' the player concerned and will post the 'answer' here, with said player's 'blessing', of course. Just be careful, or 'onto ignore you go (chap)', even though he will continue to read, and reply to, your posts when it suits him. Poop, this place has finally done it; it has sent me stark raving 'mad'.
  8. PING! (I know he was coming back from an Achilles, but, well, you know...)
  9. I hope you're right, but at the moment his game has some serious flaws. He panics and regularly gives off hospital handballs when he's under pressure (although he's certainly not alone here), and is not a great one-on-one defender or tackler. I have also not seen a guy who kicks it to his teammates' advantage less. Just watching the kick you would swear he was actually playing for the other team.
  10. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but HS is reporting a good outcome for Jeff in Court today. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/law-order/jeff-garlett-dodges-affray-conviction-over-wild-city-brawl/story-fni0fee2-1227271660185
  11. Yes, it's just a preseason game, but I can't understand how anyone thinks that what the team dished up tonight was acceptable. It's not the fact that we lost, even if we had scraped over the line the sum result is the same. Consider this: the players, set-up and game style that we saw tonight is not going to change significantly between now and Round 1. If we are to be competitive against real AFL teams, what can we change? - Decision making, especially when under pressure - Ability to create and run into space across the whole game - Ability to lock the ball deep in our forward line, and convert pressure into goals I'm sure there are many more, but I think these three things would be a good start. And also, Nasher, the reply to 'Dude' is not 'Mate', it's 'Sweet'.
  12. vandenBerg playing with what looks like a nice shiner. Matt Jones makes his first mistake for the game-tripped over on his way up the race.
  13. Nah, it's just the way this joint works. You should know that from the training threads...
  14. It actually is his right provided he sees out his current contract, but it is not what happened- he did not decide not to re-sign, he broke his contract.Saty: please base your argument on scenarios that are relevant to what is being discussed. The fact that Clark did not see his contract out (and the manner in which he achieved this) is what has got folks here so angry, not the fact that he left the club.
