In the prelim both McRae and Kingsley coached from ground level. They are both doing alright at coaching.

As for replacing Yze,  what about Mick Stinear? He seems to be able to coach.

You beat me to it. Stinear def worth looking at

Could it be that they are taking a really safe approach to the players mingling with supporters as Covid is still out there in the community.

Good point longsuffering. With life starting to feel normal again I forget this

It’s just struck me that we haven’t had the traditional family day this year. I guess they thought the December event was it. Seems strange to miss an opportunity to sell more memberships and merch

don't forget, it was a toss-up at the time as to whether it was hogan or kelly we were taking in the mini-draft

I think that was jack Martin

Dodoro said on Trade Radio today that he thought our pick 26 was fair for Hibberd. So expect this deal to be done first thing Monday morning.

Hibberd can get stuck into pre pre-season training straight away under the guidance of MIsso.

Just heard that too. Interesting that rob KERR head of footy department was on SEN this morning and didn't seem to think that 26 alone was enough and that a deal was a little way off. They need to get themselves on the same page at the bombres

I actually think he's done, which is worth nothing as it's not a medical opinion, but to me he is a race horse with a busted leg. Its almost like he is too strong and will never heal well enough to bare all the force he puts on the bone when he plays.

I reckoned he played under significant duress in last years finals campaign. Not just the last game where it was confirmed he played with a broken leg (and starred mind you). I reckon he was hurt earlier than that. After the break this time around I think they would have wrapped in cotton wool as the season mattered for nought. He will be cherry ripe for next year and I for one would salivate at the prospect of a player of his caliber to come to mfc. In saying all that I doubt it will ever happen

  7. we might have the mantra as the mt.bulla fans but better that then being seen as a collingwood centerlink bum. nothing wrong with a bit of class i love it.

agreed, the stigma is not going away anytime soon so lets embrace it.

  8. i kinda like the idea. every kid growing up playing cricket wants to one day own a baggy green cap. it would be great if the tradition can grow some legs quickly and one day it would be evry kids dream playing auskick to be able to one day own a baggy blazer. this would be dependant on these kids seeing the boys up on stage one september with the premiership year embroidered on the pocket.

it makes me tingle with excitement.
