  1. Hayes has been banished from the club for not turning up to training.

Weetra has a broken wrist, and is already on the senior list.

We haven't got a rookie who could actually come in and help us. Perhaps Neaves, but highly unlikely.

What a major blow with Rivers out for the season, but at least it occured at a time like this. Hope he gets better soon.

Also about Hayes, are you saying banished as delisted?

  2. i still think that neville has a chance, he was injured for the whole season last year. He has consistenty been named in the best throughtout the season so far. He was a late pick up, which makes him a bit of a smoky, but he pretty much is doing the same thing Newton was doing last year, being named in the best. There is still hope for neville and when the season comes to an end, then we should make our assesment on him.

  3. Source?

The soft tissue injuries are mounting...

i think it said he had a hammy strain on the mfc website, when they mentioned the late changes and on

IN: as much youngsters as we can play

OUT: all the dead wood like ward, brown

Our season is over and i don't really care if we win, lose or draw. I'm looking forward to seeing this season finish a.s.a.p and us picking up a gun in the draft.

Fingers cross we pick up Kruezer (Northern Knights, Ruckman)

  4. I reckon what CJ is missing is hardness, he needs to go at the ball more harder, it's what kept him in the team last year. He played 2 outstanding games picking up 20 disposals in both games against the saints and the eagles. If he goes hard at it he will always keep his spot in the seniors and the rest of his ability will follow.

  6. Guess on final team

    IN: CJ

    OUT: Bizzel, Brown, Mclean

Great news to hear that Frawls is in, hope he plays a blinder. Didn't expect him to play with his fitness, but it shows how highly rated he is. I still reckon Mclean won't come up and will be back next week. Miller looks like he will have one more chance to impress, but hopefully Newton has another great game at Sandy, so he can make a direct swap with him. Hope ND sticks with the youth and brings CJ in for Brown. Brown is getting to old and i think he'll be delisted at the end of the season

Yeah i am also stumped about Holland in the team, he would have been handy last week on big Q, who absolutely dominated

  7. YM the club isn't a joke, your the joke. If you ain't happy than do something about it instead of moaning and groaning. Col has shown over the past few weeks what he can do and if injuries hadn't hassled him he'd still be in the team. Col should be rested like moloney until both are fully fit, because we all know this season is over

  8. IN: NEWTON, ROBERTSON, BUCKLEY, RIVERS

    OUT: MILLER, FERGUSON, WARD, BROWN

Our season is over and ND knows it. It is time to start playing the younsters, let them gain experience at afl level just like port did last year.

Newton has shown great form over the last few weeks at sandy, and deserves his spot over Miller who has been useless

Robbo is an easy in, he adds so much to our structure and will straighten us up

Rivers is also an easy in, he is our best defender

Buckley should come into replace ward or brown as we need to blood the youngsters

Ward and Brown are both similar players and their disposal is not up to scratch

Mclean and Frawley should come in, but i still think Brock isn't ready and Frawley needs to find some fitness and should be considered in 2 weeks

  9. I'm not saying anything because if history is anything to go by, this team will win 10 in a row and make the finals, only to lose in the first week. ND will then resign. So it really doesn't matter what I think.

i think you will see that history only applys to losing

  10. The club needs a harder work ethic, we need to put in the effort. Every game our players need to run themselves into the ground and work for each other. Even Grant Thomas mentioned that our players don't work as a team. The main ingredients we are lacking are teamwork and work ethic aswell as lack in defense and our rucks. johnson and neaves look alright, but we need a 'great' ruckman.

  11. Jones will learn a huge lesson from kerr, the only postivie from this game is that our youngsters will learn a lot from the best team in the league. Frawley should come in next week, but unfortuneatley he still doesn't have the fitness to play, so i think he'll come in, in 2 weeks. Great to see some youngsters showing some spirit.

great stuff from sylvia, 3 goals
