Well said.i remember the north game must have been selwoods 4th or 5th game.simpson ran riot and bomber famously said they didn't know who was playing on him. The question I pose is how did Geelong turn the culture around so quickly? Obviously it's a simplistic view but it seems as though they turned it around almost overnight.

This is a really good post Colin but can you clarify something for me? When would Joel Selwood have ever got sick of losing? Hasn't he got the best record of any player in the history of the game in terms of winning percentage?

I totally agree with what you said about Caro but as far as I'm concerned Eddie is not much better. They are both absolute muppets in my opinion. Eddie is the most self centred,selfish,one eyed and hypocritical person ive ever known of who will use any angle available to serve his own purposes. All his little rantings and ravings make me utterly sick. And as for Caro well what can you say. Listening to what she said on FC was almost the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard in the media. Great thread. There really are some seriously quality people on here.

I understand that this has been mentioned elsewhere but felt it was worthwhile to talk about. Just watched 360 and god that footage of one of our brothers that supporter tearing up after the game nearly broke my heart. This club and footy in general means so much to so many and I just pray that the players can give us something to cheer about and some sort of enjoyment this year. Anyway please can someone who sits in the cheer squad and sees that man at the game this weekend go up to him give him a hug and let him know we're all feeling for him and for one another.just as the players need to stick together I hope we supporters can too and keep turning up to support the players no matter how hard it is.

Don't get me wrong I'm disgusted by last night and last Sundays effort,it hurts and it's fresh. Im exceptionally frustrated with where this club is at and how many of the players dont give a [censored].However going through these threads and posts i must admit ive never been prouder to be a dees fan. Considering what we have been put through by our club the fact that so many are willing to stay strong and continue to love and support is inspirational. I'm the first to admit that there have been times over the last 7 years when I've wanted to give up and not renew my membership but there's no way I can do that when I can see that so many others are hurting but willing to stay strong. Boys that is true spirit and commitment to our club. I am so proud to stand with you guys and continue to support this club. If it eventually does turn around we will never forget these tough times. Jimmy would be proud of so many of us. Go dees
