  1. MFC please be rid of the guernsey collar for next year. It services no practicality. It's a winter sport and players are not likely to get sun burn on the backs of their necks. It's not a link back to a bygone era where 'collars' were a design norm - and as someone from the club, I believe, suggested in justifying it's purpose. It has no visual appeal that I or my family of dee supporters can see. It uses extra fabric which is unnecessary (not that that's a key point). But lastly, a clean and simple V neck ribbing - with no collar - will give our glorious Melbourne jumper a stronger cleaner meaner line. Over
  2. That's curious Whispering, I just checked the digital program guide on my telly and it says the game starts at 3pm on 7. Has it been bumped??? Edit: Oh sorry! need to check my glasses and read your post properly. hehe
  3. Of course we need to create a no-nonsense culture but I wouldn't be doing it your way.
  4. Consistent skills execution and even temperament wins out over aggression! I agree!
  5. Range Rover, Crawford is suggesting Moloney be dropped. Surely that is a penalty against the team. No matter how it may have been handled (by the club) or perceived (via the media) surely the player was at fault. Why hobble the team in that respect? Just to send a tougher message?
  6. Apparently there are distinctions to be drawn between opinion, advocacy, citizen journalism etc - I read somewhere the first is taking over most other forms big time. This silver tongue is neither a journalist nor an opinion maker, just a media ratbag - In My Humble Opinion ofcrawf. Move along peoples nothing to see here!!!
  7. Unless, otherwise, maybe, perhaps - widespread retina failure has occurred - the jumpers were decidedly *pink* on my telly too. And without any possibility of a notion against the absolute, the question of jumper colour has much todo with the reflective material being chosen. Not necessarily just a camera on a bright sunny day, even though Red as correctly put forward, is volatile to broadcast. However, it's not that volatile as when have you ever seen St Kilda or Swans jumper looking a tad pink in the reds? Probably never. Maybe it was a choice in relation to a Cancer foundation Pink Lady day? However, as Mono put it it's 'most disappointing'. And not a 'whinge' to want your team's colours to be true to their origins and consistent. Kind Regards
