  1. I was in Sydney visiting my daughter when that match was on.

We found a pub in Manly to watch the match. It was a sportsbar type arrangement, with the match being shown on a small screen. Obviously events like pip spitting and hot dog eating were more interesting to the locals.

In any event, the Demons were deplorable. Not even a few beers could camouflage that.

Fair call Ethan. We can only wait in joyful anticipation of the day when all four umpires make different decisions simultaneously !

I was trying to work this out how this could happen ... I guess it's as follows:

    1. Free kick Team A

    2. Free Kick Team B

    3. Play on

    4. Ball up

    You're welcome.

I watched the final 10 minutes of Q2 (Tigers/Swans). I can't remember seeing worse football.

The poster by a Richmond player from 20 metres after the siren topped it off beautifully.

PS. I didn't watch any of the Demons/Saints match last week.

Remember when Naughton was the best young fwd in the league?

What has happened? doesn’t even mark much anymore

Zero football smarts. Often undoes his (occasional) good work by making stupid decisions.

I am terrified of what the Pies will do to us on KB. I haven’t been able to watch them play since that terrible violent act by that thug against Gus.

I am in the unfortunate situation being married to a passionate Pies supporter who will expect me to either go to the game with him or watch it together on the TV.

Like you I can't even watch the filth on TV, let alone go to any of their matches.

  6. Not ideal.

Thankfully I was away for the weekend, and checked the scores every now and then. I certainly won't be watching the highlights, let alone the replay.

I feel particularly sorry for the Demon Army people who paid good money to see what was apparently a rabble.
