  1. Hope so ... I'm going. Last years was a shocker. From memory I left early.
  2. Despite his shortcomings, he's a keeper.
  3. His cards were marked when Hawthorn brought in Barass and Battle.
  4. lol ... I went to that school ... about 100 years ago. Not fond memories really.
  5. Mark of the year ... this year's should be renamed " 'almost mark' of the year". It wasn't a mark (Darcy) ... like Ablett Snr's spectacular 'almost mark' years ago.
  6. I don't agree with the 3-2-1 system. Often the best 3 players have played similar standard games, yet the 3 voter (usually the 'big name') gets the 3 votes. I think the votes should be weighted, e.g. 6-5-4, so that there isn't such a discrepancy/unfair weighting between the 3 vote getters. Shall I go to my room now?
  7. Brisbane ... why thank you, thank you, thank you (said in Gomer Pyle style).
  8. Yes, Croxton is OK. I also like the Corner Hotel ... last couple of gigs I saw there were Todd Rundgren and Thirsty Merc. Brunswick Ballroom is a good venue.
  9. I saw The Damned at Northcote Theatre a year or 2 ago. Don't love the venue.
  10. I can't believe that Garry Lyon still gets a commentary gig. His comments are the epitome of verbal diarrhoea.
  11. Hey guys/gals, I am catching up with a friend tonight to watch the footy at a pub. I live north of the city, he lives south. What would be a good pub - CBD or Richmond - to watch the match? Thanks in advance.
