In 2019 my partner and I were travelling from Brisbane to Minjerribah (Stradbroke Island, Qld). via ferry. A fit and very tall young man travelling on the ferry with his mum and younger brother (he was tall too) had a Surfers Paradise Demons guernsey on. At some point he was standing near me on the almost hour-long ferry ride, I said it was good to see a mighty Demons jumper. The young man nonchalantly said 'my dad played a few games for the Dees'. I looked closely at him and realised Jeff White was his father. He was a very humble and well-mannered young man; as were his mother and brother. I wished him well with his footy. I hope he joins the Mighty Dees in 2025. Go Dees! Kudos to First Dog on the Moon too (I am not a shareholder in his business either):
