  1. Agreed. Watched the show reluctantly and Lloyd AND Walls had nothing nice to say about the Dees. Lloyd is an absolute terd.
  2. Agree with most of that except I think we will lose to the Eagles (I think we play them at Ethihad as a home game).
  3. I thought that to but he has something like 700 posts so if he is he's been around for a while. I don't know why supporters of the same club would do this as a kick, it's simply not funny. Mods, please ban posters such as these (if not forever, temporarily as a warning).
  4. IN: Jamar, Tappy OUT: Gawn, Garland (if injured) Can't play 3 ruckmen it simply wouldn't work. Thought Bennell (although being the sub) was relatively quiet when on and would love to see Tappy get a game up forward where he would provide great forward pressure. Dunn, Bate, Juice, Spencer - see ya later.
  5. When has putting an ultimatum on a player ever worked? (Serious question not just having a dig at you). There would be so much greater uproar if Melbourne didn't have a priority pick and only chose Scully.
  6. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know what/if Gary Ablett made any statements to the press suggesting he was going to remain a Cat at the beginning/during or end of the season?
  7. Personally i think Petterd will come in for Jetta and Bartram in for Evans. I think Jetta's a bit stiff and if we weren't playing Collingwood I'd keep Petterd at Casey for another week or 2.
  8. FB: Nicholson, Frawley, J Mac HB: Morton, Rivers, Strauss C: Scully, Moloney, Jurrah HF: Howe, Watts, Gys FF: Bennell, Sylvia, Green Followers: Martin, Trengove, McKenzie Interchange From: Bartram, Bate, Jones, Petterd, Jetta, Gawn, Evans
  9. Wow, great news. I can't remember the last time I've seen a Dee on the panel. I might actually watch the whole episode tonight.
  10. Don't see why some people feel the need to attack other posters. We ALL want the same thing, We ALL go for the same team. Leave the hating for other clubs and GWS. BUT, please stop saying things are FACT (general comment, no sole posters in mind).
  11. Intent & clarification of contract. Still, total BS to me.
  12. Lawyer here... HOA is very simply: 1) It is NON-BINDING 2) Outlines MAIN issues/terms in an agreement 3) NOT ENFORCEABLE until adopted into the parent contract (which of course must be agreed upon) Hence, the whole media dribble about Tom wanting to get out of a HOA but can't is simply rubbish. EDIT: Clarity and intention in the HOA are important if one wishes to be bound but the fact a HOA and not an ACTUAL contract has been supposedly formed between the Scull and GWS IMHO isn't practical on Scull's behalf. EDIT 2: As mentioned on the TS thread there is an agreement between GWS and AFL that uncontracted players cannot be signed up until seasons end and so any argument of HOA being binding is rubbish (illegal by nature to stipulate a contract). MYTH BUSTED p.s. mods this should probably be moved into the TS thread.
  13. Correct, lawyer here. This is why it seems like dribble to me. Why would Scully sign a HOA? If indeed he has and wants out of it that's great news to us which means he wants to play for us. Still, all dribble to me.
  14. If A) Scully resigns B ) We make the 8 this year C) Mick Malthouse is our new coach I believe we can easily hit 42,500. Carn Dees!
  15. Read the thread title and thought it was a bad joke (given we have lost 2 ruckmen already). Then to open...my heart has never sunk so fast.
  16. If only they had a heart, if only they had a brain, if only they had the nerve
  17. Here in the West the hype around the weagles has been large. It seems some posters on here think we are the underdogs going into the Thursday night clash with them and i don't really understand why. Weagles won round 1 & 2 against bottom 4 sides North and Port by smallish margins and lost to Sydney and Hawks. Yes, they played one good game against the Hawks (to which we stunk) but if you choose to go by that logic we drew with Sydney and they lost by a few goals. To me it seems that good play by Cox, Darling and Embley has resulted in skewed thoughts about WCE being a good team. Thoughts?
  18. Son of Kaspersky has been kidnapped. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13159668 He is in our thoughts.
  19. 2006 - I love. Frawley (12), Petterd (30), Garland (46)
