IMO the AFL has made a major mistake in the way they introduced these teams into the competition.

Why has the AFL introduced these team at the detriment of all teams in the bottom half of the competition?

If you planning to introduce new clubs into the competition shouldn't you be propping them up at the expense of the most successful clubs? Seems painfully obvious to me!

I've suspected the team was SOFT after numerous 50 point losses.

Who ever is in the lead tonight will win the tour. It is virtually impossible to gain time on the last stage into Paris. No rider can escape the peliton, every team wants to win the final day sprint.

There are no time bonuses for the stage winner.

From my observation I really think our form has been consistent. We have struggled against the teams above us and played well against the likes of the Power, Crows, GC, and Brisbane.

I find it interesting when i hear that our form is up and down. Lets face it, we have improved but we simply haven't taken the next step.

My only concern is that we have suffered heavy losses to the teams above us on the table.

Just finished watching the last quarter of the Suns - Crows game. Saw a couple of sling tackles that closely resemble JT's tackle.

Will they be sighted? Probably not.

To compound the issue we had the worst ruck duo in 30 years. Martin and Newton. Unfortunately we don't have anyone else.

And lastly we didn't have any big utilities. Tall, strong bodies are worth their weight in gold... We didn't have 1 today.

I tipped North Melbourne to win and I am not surprised that we lost.

We are going to really struggle over the next 5 weeks without Jamar.

Unfortunately I agree with you 100%. This might be stating the obvious but we must ensure we retain Scully and Trengove. They are the nucleus of this team.

Personally I'm prepared to serve the same suspension as JT. I won't attend another game for another 3 weeks.

I think it would be fair to say that, while we will cop some losses along the track, we shouldn't fear any teams in the comp. They might beat us but if we play like today they will have to earn it.

Couldn't agree more. This might be stating the obvious, but the way the team is perfoming at present they will be more than competitive against any team in the competion. Bring on the Cats, that will be the true test.

Getting wound up over umpiring is just a waste of energy. I realised a long time ago that if your team is good enough, then you will win the premiership. End of story. Ever notice how the best team doesnt seem to worry about the umpires very much? Very very rarely do umpires affect the result of a game, and even less often can they be blamed on a premiership outcome.

I find it ironic that the umpires have OPSM plastered over their backs!
