  1. I know the Prismall's (work with his mother) and he is desperate to get more game time. He asked Cats to trade him last year and they said no as he was under contract.

But he is out of contract this year and will probably look to leave as he just can't crack it into their side. Collingwood have shown a bit of interest but I just cant see what they have to offer Geelong in a trade so Pris could end up in the PSD.

His brother is also playing down at Weribee as he didn't get drafted last year. Is bigger than Brent and plays KP. Apparently has more ability than Brent.

Would be good to see the two boys down at the club. The family is a ripping family that just love footy.

The idea of the new stadium is to provide something specifically for Rugby and Soccer, but was it ever considered to make the stadium/ground big enough to play Aussie Rules as well? For example, a stadium with a retractable seating system that allowed it transfer from an AFL ground to one suited for Rugby/Soccer.

  3. I posed this question the other day - what was the announcement about the other week when Gardiner was trumpeting the Olympic Park oval redevelopment with athletics moving to Albert Park. This has absolutley NOTHING to do with Melbourne if it is going to be Collingwood's ground.

WTF was he on about??? The guy is a loose cannon

Read through the articles carefully. Collingwood moving to that oval means we get the pristine one they are currently training on so is in fact a win for us.

Maybe not such a loose cannon after all hey ?

  4. Word is that the Blues want Brad and Brett Ratten (who maintains close ties with Melbourne players after his midfield coaching role) has asked him not to sign anything until he and his management have discussed offers.

Apparently Brad is ready to move on and at this stage in his career is favouring his wallet over team loyalty. Other interested parties include Richmond and at least one other Melbourne based club. I know he has his detractors but at this time should Melbourne players in the later part of their careers be looking for better opportunities else where and should the club be trying to retain experienced and talented players like Green?

    How much is he worth?

sorry but word is from who ? Judds Grandmother. Seriously we are at round 7 and this crap has started already. Have school holidays started again.

We had a win yesterday. Can't we just enjoy it for a moment without all of this nonsense.

If Green was wanting out then why has he been busting a gut to get back in leadership group, and why has he been our most consistent player this year.

Seriously before you start slagging our players off by saying he has no team loyalty and is looking at his wallet be prepared to nominate a real concrete source.

  5. At school right, this kid comes up to me and says "CARN THE LIONS" and then he would he say (well excuse the language) but he says "Melbourne [censored] off" i never been sooo angry to hear words outta from a Feral brisbane lions supporter. . Incase your wondering how old i am im 15 years old turn 16 in 2 weeks.

Don't let it bother you. He is trying to get a rise out of you. Don't let him. Just keep supporting the club.

Happy birthday for 2 weeks as well!

  6. there is a video of Natanui on the thread about him on Demonology.

Kid looks absolutely awesome, and I remember seeing him last year at the state championships. Jumped all over Kruezer and wil ultimately be way better than him.

Will make this whole season worthwile and will become a cult figure very quickly down at Demonland. Will hopefuly help us to get young supporters to get interested in the club.

  7. Judd got traded for 3 and a player and pick 20. What makes you think McLean plus 17 would be worth pick 2.

Bruce would not get a pick 10-15. You are on the record saying he is soft over paid and over hyped. On what basis do you think he would attract that sort of pick.

  8. Imagine if Jim couldn't turn it around. How would you feel bagging out a favourite son, or doing what had to be done to Ian Ridley.

I love the big Jimmy and he is a fantastic motivational speakerbut does he have the credentials and the guts to dowhat is necessary to get this ship sailing again.

If Argus is keen, I'm prepared to listen (would still love to see Ron Walker do it though)

  9. Make no mistake Ron is all about Ron, not the MFC. Where has he been before flogging his book?? Sydney. I do not consider him a Demon. Oh and where is Brian Dixon these days?? Bob Skilton coached us too, but he's never played on that. Slipped quietly into oblivion. Take note Barass.

If you bothered to read the MelbourneFc website you would know RDB was signing his book in the Melbourne Megastore last week and is doing so again this Sunday

If you are going to make comments at least try to get your facts straight.

  10. I was there as usual and will be back next week.

Interesting that the media have not really picked up on the fact James Brayshaw who spent the week imploring Kangas fans to get there was not there himself. Was calling the other game on Triple M. If that was our Pres the media would have had a field day with it

  11. Say mate. I dunno about this joining tykes up on the day they are born bizo.

Surely ya gotta let em choose? Otherwise it's like brainwashing.

(disclosure: I come from an all-Demons family on an all-Demons street.)

both mine were joined up on the day they were born. Only way to get them to support the club is brainwashing. Our wonderful success and outstanding players isn't going to draw them to the club voluntarily.

I couldn't let them live in the house of they decided to support someone else

  12. I dont.. but an application would be unlikely to be turned down. They SOrt of have an in at mcc ;)

I actually asked someone from the club at the time. The Melbourne City Council actually denied the club a permit for the parking even with our SO in !

The club wanted a permit so they could have raised some money as well as attracting a far bigger crowd

  13. Don't know why she told you that unless that is where she got hers? They were handing them out of the back of the truck/stage.

she looked like a club volunteer or official or something so that makes it even worse ! (although really not suprising given the way our administration works)

  14. It strikes me that very few Demonlanders were recipients of the disguised dogfood.....or at least they would have commented on what a foolish error I made!

that is because there were probably very few actual recipients of the showbags.

We were there early looking for them for both of the kids but couldn't find them at all. Dad asked a lady who had one and she said you had to go all the way around to the megastore on the otherside of the ground to get them.

If that was actually true then no wonder nobody got one. Was hardly going to walk two small kids all the way around the ground on a hot day to pick up a show bag loaded with dog food !
