Game just about over as Freeman kicks his first goal in the VFL. 10.14.74 to 8.6.54

Dean Kent kicks his third goal to make it 14 points the difference

Sandringham doing most of the attacking as we move to 20 minutes into the quarter.

Lockhart missed an opportunity and it’s now 8 points the difference. No rain yet but it’s threatening.

It’s a dour struggle with not much scoring this quarter. Lachie Filipovic has been off for a while with what I’m told appears to be a hammy.

After 10 minutes of scrappy footy, only a single point was scored until Sam Weideman bagged his second to put Casey 7 points up.

Goals to Machaya and Kent within two minutes bring the Dees to within 1 point at the 27 minute mark.

20 minutes in and Casey trail by 15 points. Harry Petty is back on the ground.

Sandringham with a quick reply move back to a 16 point lead: 8.6.54 to 5.8.38 at the 11 minute mark of the third quarter.

Goal to Mitch King - Casey trail by 12 points.

Two goals in first three minutes of the second half to Sandy who take a 16 point lead.
