The AFL will demand a set Im sure
People have been known to have fingers broken in a firm handshake so the AFL owes players a duty of care to ban handshaking both before and after games because of the possibility that the practice could cause injury, albeit that the contact might not be high.

(Papley) played a couple of games at Casey. He could have been ours!
He could have been anybody’s actually.
He played with the Casey Scorpions and showed at the time, that he was a goal kicker.
IIRC our own recruiting people made the decision not to treat him as a priority for recruiting.

Podcast will be LIVE tomorrow night (Wednesday) @ 8:30pm
Apologies for the late podcast. Originally was going to be tonight (Tuesday) due to the long weekend but I traveling to Broome right into a Category 4 Cyclone. I've course corrected and am heading back to the East Coast but won't get back in time for tonight.
So Wednesday @ 8:30pm it will be. Better late and safe than never.
So not tonight Josephine?

So we have one player in the Metro side tied to us as a father-son who will cost draft points if we select him early and another in the Country side who we can only draft if he is not picked inside the top 40. The worse they perform the better it is for us and the best thing to do is hide them away. We can't do that if they make these representative sides though, can we?

Toby Bedford is on track to achieve some sort of record this season. He’s been the sub for all 5 Melbourne games (activated once only in Round 1). This has enabled him to double up for each of Casey’s games this season so by the end of the day today he will have 9 games on the board. Five for Melbourne and 4 for Casey.

I think it has to be said that Jon Ralph’s little campaign last week against Ben Brown’s suspension (for being too light) was nasty and completely over the top. The player in question contributed to the incident by running straight at Brown whose clumsy attempt to fend him off deserved the 2 weeks (reduced to 1 with a guilty plea). That player was unhurt and played the game out without any signs of injury and we all know how much the MRP is influenced by the impact of the hit in determining the penalty. He wasn’t KOd and the penalty handed out was adequate - but not to this HS reporter. Time for them to give up their anti Melbourne vendetta.

Don't we also have another up and coming NGA player in the same year as Prasad?
