Agree Stats are very mislesding. Getting 30 as an inside mid at a lower level with lots of stoppages doesn't necessarily teanslate well to etihad where there are less stoppages or the fast break game styles employed in the afl today

I know this is stating the obvious but, Regardless of the Pro EFC chest beating and investigation into ASADa it doesn't change the facts Easendon don't have records what they injected players with nor the fact ASADAs investigation was found legal in the high or supreme court (sorry for my ignorance) nor the fact they were found guilty in the swiss high court. The lions dont want Dunn. They will get Frost for basically free. They're not a retirement home.they just want a big body to suppoet their developing talls And even if the lions do want Dunn, they wont gove pick 30 for a bloke who hasn't played afl all year

I like you're line of thinking 55. Is there a chance though that some of those players would find other positions. VandenBerg comes to mind as one who is a mid but is forced to play hff. I wonder if others like harmes and salem as an example would be forced to.move positions. I think Roos and Goody are massive on players who can play multiple positions. But in saying that it might be a reality that we have to trade some.of our young brigade (which i dont like.at first glance) to bring in experience to be able to tke the next step

Not suggesting u approve this trade AAC but any suggestion Salem is tradeable would be nothing less then a top 10 pick... especially if we want to recoup our investment in him. He's been out of the game for 12 months, age, demanded to leave, Injection regime, the fact that Xavier Campbell said he (essenscum) wouldn't stand in any players way who wanted to leave, have to be all.mitigating factors in any trade Mitch Clark as an example was a straight swap. Love the hypocrisy in essendon saying they want like for like, they have no choice/say if a player chooses to leave. Tell Essendon they're dreaming and move on

Mids Mids Mids for me We have Hogan, Dawes, Pederson, TMac, OMac, Gawn, Spencer, Frost who can all pinch hit as big forwards Lets win the ball and move the ball consistently before we worry too much about the lack of quality talls I haven't even discussed our poor history of drafting talls or Roos's preference to go with young ready made players early in the draft. I like the sound of Hopper??? I think that's his name but in saying that I know nothing about the young lads

In a supposedly weak draft a 3rd rounder wouldn't be giving up too much. In saying that who knows what value we'd get out of it with wada hanging over him and ability. I'll trust the clubs judgement on this one... but its very very risky imo

No agree. I was more referring to his overall games, but points noted as I saw the same thing by the sound of it. At crucial times when the pies were coming I thought he kept making costly mistakes. As I said I hope he plays the remaining games and gets it right but my opinion is no he won't.

Due to our lack of depth and experience I hope we keep them all. Even though I do think they all have limitations as players. if we can keep building with these 3 as role players I think we will be on the right track. But it's really up to Howe and Col about what they want

Also Im prepared to cop the hate on this one But I don't reckon Jack Grimes is up to it - would trade/delist Again just my opinion. And in reality I'd keep him on the list for his experience and leadership until the young brigade take over. I rekon Chris Yarran should be a target Got some great assets and I reckon he is gettable from Carlton. His run off half back would be great at the Dees, something we really lack. Anyway just my opinion no 'sources'

I'll take what you say on Face Value GNF - the club is falling apart - lets talk about some Footy issues that is J Watts Lets say Watts comes back after Queens Birthday - i think we play the dogs??? From the last 10ish rounds what is reasonable expectaion of Watt's output so WE the MFC want to offer him another contract? When is Jack Watts expected to deliver consistent performances? And let's not forget that Watts isn't being asked to carry the load or expectations of a CHB or CHF he is playing as a 3rd up tall across half back where blokes like Dermie would argue if you can't get a kick across half back you ain't much chop as a player
