About Me

Hi . . . . I'm Smoking Dog. I'm a visual artist and I was at the 1964 Grand Final, so have actually seen the Demons win a flag - and against Collingwood by less than a goal (it could only have been downhill from there! - certainly for the next 45 years - footywise) I also saw Bob Dylan and the Band (then the Hawks) play Festival Hall in 1966, and also saw the Saints win their flag later in the year (also against Collingwood - yes!)

I am married to a beautiful experimental filmmaker and have a beautiful daughter from another relationship and a son from yet another relationship (hippy years!) I now teach at a couple of universities as well as visiting lecturer at an art school in Hong Kong.

The constants in my life have been art, the mighty Demons, Bob Dylan and my small irregular family. I am 57 going on 25 - other interests are travel and cinema.
