  1. I like your thinking, it may entice a few, but will the donated membership get a bum on a seat come match day? I think this is important
  2. I'm still shaking my head after Sunday as I write, but the point I want to make on this topic is, that there is also a train line running right to it.
  3. You will have to change your user name now, 'cause we know where you are. I'm from Rowville, and love the idea of them being at Cranny
  4. You are showing you are clearly a cut above the rest here Jackoff. Where do you call home?
  5. I think DeeReaming might be referring to the marketing drive for the season. Not marketing the march.
  6. Is this the game where we get entry on our membership for the hame game we play at Manuka or is it the Essendon game later in the year. I'd normally know this allready but I haven't received any info.
  7. Good to see you are still around, what is the point of deleting it if it's quoted in other responses.? You only have to look at the way we try to play to understand what I dislike about what he has brought to MFC. He should have been given the arse. Keep up the good work.
  8. No Different to EVERY year Winner of the last game in September.
  9. Mark Jackson, I've also heard he is very good on finances and a great public speaker.
  10. I wouldn't call a practice match a "debut" they are trying to make these games out to be more than what they are.
  11. Hahahahahahaahahahahahah That is a [censored] classic mate, give me your email address and I will send you an mp3 of it.
  12. Very true, my appologies to all. The game televised will obviously be the winners from week 1 i.e. Saints V Cats. Senility is a [censored]
  13. According to the 2008 NAB CUP SCHEDULE issued by the AFL in Dec the game is covered by FOX
  14. I bloody hope they are working on how to get it through the goals quickly!
  15. I won't see the survey until I get home however on the basis of what you are say if everyone answers 0 to 3 on this answer the club will consider that the members don't see the MCG as our home ground, and will perhaps look for a sweet deal to play our games at TD or more home games interstate. I think I would answer "10" to this question, and as you say, encourage the club to make the MCG our home. Perhaps I am interpreting it wrong.
  16. I consider myself a passionate supporter, and it is for that exact reason that I get this [censored] off at this sort of thing. It's difficult for me to get to training because of work (duhh) but today I have a day off and relished the opportunity to get a sniff of the pre season, alas, the dissapointment of 2007 continues. This happens time after time year in year out, and it's usually a combination of these seemingly small things which lead people to consider whether this is a club worth trying to support. It's completely up to the individual to make that choice, because I believe "the club" don't give a stuff about the supporters, and do very little to entice support. Giving me a scarf/hat/cushion and all that [censored] isn't what I want, I want to be able to see the players of the club I support showing me why I love football. They would much rather have 1 fat Freddy sitting in the members that contributed a [censored] load of money and doesn't know any players, rather than 200+ of the likes of people on here an Ology who can recite every passage of play since '64 and earlier, sit through every game good and bad, rain hail or shine, and like to get to training on the odd occasion.
  17. Further, On my return, around 11-30, I checked the website to make sure that I wasn't doing a BC, and it still stated "Trinity 10-30. I have just revisited the site and it now says "Junction Oval 10-30" Why change it well after the fact, and lastly, IT WASN'T AT JUNCTION EITHER, IT WAS A F'ING MONASH.
  18. According to the "our" webpage training today 16/11 was at Trinity @ 10.30. Not a Melbourne player in sight, only Kangaroos players. Good work MFC.
  19. That's including the females?? If their swimming team is any indication we may very well have the first female CHB in AFL. Essendon allready have a female FF
  20. Or be a self portrait of onesself......
  21. Adrian Battiston, absolutely loved him.
  22. Making a comment like that you could be considered the same……. Robbo may like the attention, but by Christ every supporter that watches him fuels the behaviour because that’s what we want to see. It takes all kinds to make the spectacle of football what it is. Some are flamboyant and outgoing to the point where they are considered [censored] by some, others are reserved and contained and go about their game with military precision. Fact is, there are two very happy people with a piece of MFC memorabilia that will be a talking point for many years, from one of our most spectacular players
  23. I think you will find that it's one person having a converstion with itself, with 4 or so Aliases

Thanks for that?? This response alone has provided me with sufficient information to decide whether it's worth reading anything more from you. P.S. so far this year I have missed the Gabba game, and will probably miss the Collingwood game due to work commitments. I normally can't get to 2 or 3 a year, which works out to be quite a few when you have been a supporter for 30 odd years. Enjoy your time here, you will be spanked.
