Getting annoyed with the intercept marks in our F50

Just found my Kayo pass in Spam also.
And how good is Bazball. And Harry Brook looks like a future star.

Lovely tap from Gawn to Oliver for the center clearance but pretty much an uncontested mark to Wilke. BBB and TMac need to do better than that.

Gawn now forward, Grundy ruck with Clarry, Trac and Harmes in the square.

Fritsch and Salem are not training at all. Salem for obvious reasons. Not sure about Fritsch.
Really hoping the medicos can sort Salem's issues out. It's easy to forgot just how good he was in the 2021 finals series.

The War On Drugs was and will continue to be an epic failure, so I’m not sure why the people you mention would have a problem with it being discontinued, unless they have a penchant for wasting taxpayer money (the USA alone has spent over one trillion dollars on this “war” so far with nothing to show for it) and lining the pockets of drug cartels and militant groups.
Drugs - be they medically/societally approved or otherwise - are here to stay. So the only way to combat the negative aspects of this are to look deeply into why people take them, and try to address those issues.
I'd like for them to be asked rather than just assume what they'd say.

Where is Goodwin?
Is he still our coach. LOL
I havent heard from him since about Nov draft.
Given his frank discussions after the 2021 GF about experiencing burnout at times during his coaching career, good chance the club and himself are keeping his media and public roles to an absolute minimum during the off-season allowing him to focus on the players and coaching.

I wonder how many ex-addicts or family members of addicts or people who work in drug re-hab want to abandon the war on drugs.

Interesting to hear Harmes mention he came back underdone last year and a bit fat. I wonder how many were actually the same and maybe a bit of an explanation on our 2nd half drop offs throughout the year
It was an unusually frank and honest admission. Goes against what the club was saying that all the players barely rested after the premiership and came back cherry ripe. Perhaps he was the only one? Who knows, but it could be career suicide for any of our fringe players to do it going forward.

Fox will be showing it.
That would be nice, and given this is the unofficial practice mactch, it would be a big surprise. Last year the unoffical one was streamed on the AFL and clubs websites and only the official practice game was on Fox.

The next few months are going to be tough if you get upset by that.

David King was apparently there this morning and will be on SEN “soon” to share his observations.

Finish Top 4 after the H&A and be playing our best footy in September. Whatever went wrong after round 10 last season can't be repeated or heads should roll. That should see us playing in the GF.

From memory those practice matches were streamed through the afl.com.au website which would be greatly appreciated.
I think I just heard Dwayne Russell on SEN say all "official" practice games like this one will be on Foxtel/Kayo. I expect any unoffical games we play against other AFL clubs will be streamed on the AFL site.

Do we have a substantiated explanation as to why Brayshaw spent most, if not all, of pre-Christmas training on an exercise bike or rowing machine?

I would love some indication from someone at the game about the affect of the wind, especailly after half time. The commentatiors barley mentioned it, but you could see the trees in the background really moving around, could often hear it in the effects mic and at three quarter time, the players hair was all over the place. It seemed to have become very influential, but it was hard to tell which if any end it favoured.
Great game to watch. We'll go in as underdogs again for the GF, but who knows what happens if we play our best footy. Shame the AFL has made such a mess of the ground situation. The AFLW competetion desrves so much better.

The additional 1st and 2nd round picks next year are also a great result for us. We'll all be hoping for them to drop down the ladder which will give us a great draft hand to either bring in more young talent or poach someone from another club.

I’m sure some will never accept it, but it’s crystal clear that the coaches really value what role players like ANB (8th tonight) bring to the club. It’s not all about the commonly talked about stats.

If it was within Hawthorn FC and stayed there perhaps but the Journalists got hold of it or were given it, and whether true or not it has ruined all the accused and North Melb and Brisbane. Mud sticks. especially Merri river mud from cricket pitches on football fields.
You can't seriously believe that? Yes, disturbing and serious allegations have come to light, and like when they do in all aspects of life, the accused, while not yet proven guilty, face some consequences. Teachers and policemen get stood down if serious accusations are made. People get arrested and spend time behind bars well before a case gets heard in a court.
If these accusations are proven to be false, no person or club will be "ruined". Yes, some nuffies will bring it up down the track, but mud won't stick with anyone that matters.
A lot of alarmist nonsense is getting thrown around right now.
