I thought goody spoke well and I was delighted to hear of all the issues Clayton has. Gives me a lot more confidence heâll be back to his best next year.
The concern for me is that Petracca hasnât said anything publicly and the club hasnât denied it, so the fact remains that one of the people who we should all trust the most âhas lost faith in the direction of the clubâ. A player like trac doesnât say that for no reason. I hope that it is the issue with the medicos and not a reference to our culture, but it sounded like both.
I do find it very very very suspicious that Anb now wants to go home. I canât help but think he wouldnât go if he thought we were a chance for another flag, so why is his confidence in us gone?
Similarly, with viney. I canât help but think his dad has heard him complaining about something at Melbourne, be it culture or otherwise. Prompting his old man to let north know heâs potentially gettable.
I dont blame any of the above but we need to work out whatâs going on thatâs causing three of our best leaders to want out. Whichever way you shape it, itâs a shambles.
The positive is, that if we can get the underlying issues sorted, we will likely see a big jump in performance.
