Kozzy generates a level of excitement when in the vicinity of the ball that I haven't felt since Jackovich. His ability to recover his footing, his creativity, his physics defying movement, finding the goals - scintillating stuff.
Watch the highlights and listen to the crowd when he swooped on that ball inside 50 and kicked the goal.
It felt like the days of Jeff Farmer or A jakovich lighting up the G' on a wet day. The whole crowd knew something special was about to happen.
That was Kozzies first game on the MCG since he really arrived in round 2 and you can feel hes going to make the stadium his own.

Best player in the country.
Is there anyone out there who still thinks Brodie Grundy is better than Gawn? Its not even close

Steven May was released from hospital last night.
So either he needed no surgery, or surgery is delayed. Or he had surgery immediately.
We need to know damn it!!

She will be fine. Being president of an AFL club is a pretty easy gig and shes not going to be an insufferable grandstander like Eddie, Kennett , Koch etc...
All the best Kate

I love him, have always stuck up for him. His footy IQ is off the charts. Too bad he kicked 0.3 today.

Yeah it was 1994, my mistake. And before that 1990 and 1988.

He really has stepped it up this season. Could be in the AA discussions in some circles

Spargo was brilliant? Sparrow was medical sub and brought the heat when he came on.
Only people who are in contention to be dropped are Melksham and Jetta. But both will keep their spot for now.Hibberd for May
Yeah I was still angry after the win when I posted that, have calmed down now.

Was excellent coaching and good execution by the players
Not sure who negated Guthrie in 1st Qrt but saw Jones playing tagging fwd role in 3rd and 4th on Tuohy and others. ANB, Spargo, Pickett, Sparrow all played great defensive roles
Viney and Tracc smashed them in the guts and Oliver did his bit while fending off a hard tag. Even Tmac had a good contested game
The pressure from everyone was the massive highlight for me! I am pumped to see us grind a good team, particularly when they had a great 10 minute stretch to narrow the gap
Sparrow is always in the top bracket for pressure acts.
Maybe we should leave him in the team... even though I didnt mind Melk coming in.

I wonder if the AFL's pet Richmond having an extra 3 day break than us before the Anzac game affect our changes vs the Hawks at all

Goody is back in black after that win... 44 wins and 43 losses as Demons coach.
That was his first Home and away win over Geelong.

Great to see Fyfe score a goal in his return. Too bad it took him 6 kicks to get it.
-
How good was it when Pickett caught Selwood holding the ball without about 5 minutes left and then gave Selwood a mouthful.

The Pies are finished. They just got smashed by a winless GWS on the MCG. Buckley will be gone mid year.
