Comparing the results from yesterday to the last time that I was there, I must be worth about 96 points to the team! Nah I couldn't make it yesterday, I was way too busy with other stuff. That one was the first one that I've missed, is there anybody who has played in all of them?

Well done guys, great effort. Was there much wind out there today? 2 wins for the year is an exceptional effort, particularly when the Seniors only managed 3! Has mad Monday started yet or are you all going to wait another 4 hours for it?

Unless you do something like these guys, I doubt it will have any impact.

Although there's a few of the kids who have shown a bit of promise over the past couple of years, it's very tough to judge how good they will be until I see their performance in a team that's consistently winning. There's a huge difference between a player who can get a few touches when nobody else is standing up, compared to somebody who will lead the team deep into the finals. I'm sure that guys like Morton, Buckley, Aussie and Davey will play good supporting roles in the future, but I haven't seen anything yet that indicates that they will get to an A grade class of an Ablett, Bartell, Franklin, etc.

I posted on about page 2 that I probably won't be able to make it due to Derby Day on the Saturday & having to study whilst hungover on the Sunday.

I'll most likely be unavailable. Derby Day's on the Saturday & I'll have uni assignments due the following week. I'll try my best to make it, but I doubt I'll be able to make it.

The dees also played in 7 GFs in a row from 54-60. Brisbane's 3 flags in a row is amazing in this modern era, although they never dominated a h&a season. Essendon in 2000 were the most dominant team throughout 1 season that I've seen. My vote goes to us in 54-60, which is based on bias and nothing else.

Everybody jumps on the bandwagon when they're winning though. A few years ago they were getting crowds of 19,000 vs Freo at the MCG and we were getting averages of 40,000 to every game at the MCG.

Who did we play in the semis inbetween those 2 games? Was it St Kilda? I reckon our 2000 side would have beaten alot of premiership teams in the 90s, only Essendon were unstoppable and were never going to be beaten. Didn't we score 100 points or more in about 9 or 10 games in a row (It might have been less, but my mind tends to exaggerate these types of things). In 1994 we had one of the most awesome forward lines ever, consisting of Lyon, Jakovich, Schwarz, Pike & Charles (just imagine if we hadda had Neitz in there also!!). But the prelim was a case of the unstoppable force vs the immovable object, and WC had an even better defence.

All winning did for us yesterday was going from having pick 18 to having pick 19. Even if you're a fan of tanking for picks, there wasn't a whole lot to gain from a loss from our point of view.

In fairness tho, I don't think Heath was trying to copy his supporters. Afterall, the vehicle that he was driving wasn't stolen and there was no mugging reported nearby.

I'll give McLaren a little bit of credit; atleast he pays poor decisions both ways & isn't biased towards a specific club. Who was umpire #24? He refused to give blatent free kicks when he was 5m away from the ball & it was right infront of him!

I lost all respect for McNamee when he chose to go to England 2 weeks before the membership cutoff date "because he hasn't missed a Wimbledon in over 20 years". Today was the first time that I heard him say anything in the media, can somebody please tell me some good things that he did for the club so maybe my opinion of him will change?

The draw always looks harder when the AFL schedules you to play every game against a team that's higher than you on the ladder.

I guess that Chris Judd also wants to come & play for Melbourne next year.

Do we still qualify for priority picks because of last year? Isn't it something like 8 or 9 wins over 2 years & you get first pick? Therefore we probably will still get first pick even if we finish 2nd last.

Most people are probably just used to a 2:10 start and just assumed it to start at that time.

That whole saga was the biggest overreaction that I've ever seen in my life. If all of the feminists had a problem with what he did then they should have complained about it immediately after it happened instead of waiting a month. If they weren't watching it when it happened then they most likely wasn't the target audience for it and therefore it doesn't affect them. I'm not saying that what Sam did was right, but still a mountain was made out of a molehill with regards to it all.

I reckon that every commentator on the planet says stupid stuff that's much worse than that. How many times do you hear something like "he likes to kick a goal" or "they'll want to win today"?

Awesome designs guys. I'd love to see what the inverse V looks like with the MFC logo. & I wouldn't be against having it on the home strip for good as well.
