I definitely think we're heading in the direction of playing finals but I'm not sure it'll be this year. I still think players need 50 - 60 games and a few pre seasons before they really start to come on. Much like Jack Viney last season. Once the group of Petracca Brayshaw Oliver Weideman Hunt Omac etc hit that 50 - 60 game mark we'll spike pretty quickly.

Paul Amy tweeted Gach Nyuon,an Essendon rookie this year, is training at Casey Demons.The Dandenong Stingrays grad was the All Australian U18 ruckman in 2015 We must be keeping an eye on him. Very raw & has some behavior issues but he has a heap of upside.

I've been impressed with what I've seen at training so far. He's looked a little lost at times in certain drills but that's to be expected of first year players. As much as he's a contested ball winner don't be fooled into thinking he's only got the one string to his bow. The kids got some tricks up his sleeve.

Sure Weideman - Looks to be a smooth mover with good hands. I'm still trying decide if he'll be physically ready for senior footy. He's got a big frame & looks strong already through his core but lacks upper body strength. He doesn't look out of place. Hulett - I'm going out on limb here, this guy can play. I can see him playing the lead up forward working up and down the ground. He impressed me today with speed, size & attack on the ball. I also work with a guy who was involved with his junior club and says he's a freak who's been incredibly unlucky with injury. King - Not sure yet, obviously big ruckman take time.

I was pretty impressed with Oliver in some of the drills today. He likes tackling & is extremely evasive. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the pre season games.

Apparently you can't trade future 1st round picks in consecutive years.

Will be hard for us to land either without a first round pick next year. We'd have to trade something out.

I said gday to him at training yesterday, he's a good kid but let's give him dome time. He's pretty lightly built still & obviously needs to build that tank. 2016 is purely a development year.

I'm sure his beep test would be better had he not been injured the majority of the year. Clubs would have his testing from Previous years, would be interesting to see if those results were much different.

He usually starts the call by saying he tips a lot of money into the club then proceeds to threaten the club that he'll pull his funds if things don't turn around. He once claimed the club should appoint David Neitz as senior coach. This was about two years after Neitz retired and had no coaching experience. He's either taking the pi$$ or he's actually insane.
