Most entertaining stat line at 1/4 time - Sicily on track to have 60 touches, 36 marks, and to have 8 goals kicked on him

Hawthorn's style of footy is tedious.
4 billion sideways possessions and no attack....

That may be the best well rounded quarter of football I've ever seen him play

The stat I’d really like to see is some sort of net score involvement. Score involvements minus turnovers that result in opposition scores. That would allow a better assessment of players in similar roles.
Good call.
Also the NBA style team +/- when a player is on the field, though doing this with 36 players at a time rather than 10 may be a bit tricky...

If we Dont play Clarry and it goes to the wire.... and we lose... Good luck on this site🤯
If our culture is so fragile that it requires Oliver having an unofficial and hidden (from the public/supporters) first team suspension to not shatter it, we have some pretty deep issues.
I don't have blind faith in the club, but I don't believe that we have problems of that magnitude.
If you believe in selection integrity, there is absolutely no rational justification for Oliver not playing given he has been reintegrated into the team and has played two practice matches.

If Oliver is fit enough to play footy and is available for selection, he plays AFL. Simple as that.

Is really finishing 7th or 8th such a massive achievement that it needs to be protected? Can't see that it has an impact on 1-6.
Carlton missed the finals last year by about a goal in percentage, we missed it in 2020 by half a game - I'd be happy for it to be brought in, especially going to 19/20 teams in the next few years.

I haven't seen this game tonight but they are seriously underperforming.
I fear for Vossy, don't know whether the board can hold their nerve...
Voss isn't an AFL standard coach. Carlton should be pushing top 4 and nailed on finals with their list, not bottom 4.

Make that 50. 50 frees in a single game.
That’s 30 too many.
How about 132 in a game?!?

JDG in trouble ? Let’s see what Mr MRO does with this one.
Careless, high and severe. Straight to tribunal and 3 weeks - unless the kid has a broken jaw in which case 4-6

Yet what happens, if, sometime in the future a similar thing happens but the interchange steward and not the club got the count wrong?
Then that would be an equally massive stuff up.

It was because the ball was inside there 50. The free kick is where the ball is. But yeah it's harsh but all the other teams have managed to count
100%
Everyone knows what the rule is - it's not hard. Is a real pity for North though.

Can anyone explain fairly why Chol was overlooked?
Crackers
Grinter
Schwarz would all get 6 weeks
Kane Cornes on SEN referred to this and called Chol the luckiest person this weekend

I think some people are underestimating the Suns. They are a good team, not a top 8 team ATM but they are getting there. How good was Anderson? Almost single handily won them the game. Good win against tough opposition I'd take that any day of the week. If we struggle against the Hawks then I'll be worried about the team's form.
Anderson's game was extraordinary, especially given the opposition. He looks like being an absolute superstar
I'm pretty glass half full - Suns are very good at home, we won inside 50s by a fair margin (albeit other metrics weren't great) and game would have been iced half way through the last if Fritsch kicked straight (which he normally does and I expect he will do in future)

I think Collingwood's best is only 4th or 5th in the comp after Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and maybe Carlton, but they look to have the smallest gap between their best and worst by a fair distance.

They've had a decent go, North, but no chance covering missing their two key backs plus Larkey being injured all game

Somewhat surprisingly, I think the MRO got the three decisions more or less right.
Cotchin maybe a little lucky, the De Goey one was a sling but wasn't a drive into the ground, and Berry actually jumped into the Preuss tackle so I don't think there was much he could do.

D+ is very harsh on North. JHF decided to leave and they had to make the best of a bad lot like us with Jackson. They turned JHF into pick 2.
Following that pick 1 into 3 and F1st is good dealing too if you don't want the player GWS does at 1, ie Cadman. You still get the 2 players you want and the F1st.
They got a couple of handy players from Freo for their must-trade assistance picks, which is decent going with their coaching uncertainty.
I don't think King can get his head around future picks - the analysis reads as though the extra 2023 first rounder doesn't exist.
I agree - 2, 3, F1 and Logue is a decent outcome for the Roos in the circumstances

He got a week.
Consistent with the Kozzie decision - any head high rough conduct will get a minimum medium impact even if there's no actual damage
