  1. Great hospital handball friita.
  2. How was that not punched through. Sleepy defending.
  3. Um what about dissent as well.
  4. I love Oliver but his quick kicks usually come straight back.
  5. As a finals feel about it for some reason.
  6. I hope the whoo hoo man is in fine form.
  7. Will we get a fair run from the umps? As tough as this game is, I think it's the most exciting so far.
  8. Would be considerate if C7 showed some footage of our past indigenous players .
  9. Sadly it's probably just fruit salad for me tonight facing the ensuite in my bedroom. Bt fruit, I mean mostly grapes. And by grapes I mean the fermented type. OK , yes. I'm having wine for dinner. That's okay because I'm having soup for an entre. Wild Turkey to be specific.
  10. Recent scuttlebutt suggests demonlanders are descending upon Uncle Bitter's manor. I do hope the cellar is stocked.
  11. Ah yes. Good old Adelaide. Artic conditions in the morning so you put on 5 layers of clothing only to see the mercury hit 28 come lunchtime. As reliable as the umpires adjudicating Power and Crows games giving interstate clubs a fair shake.
  12. Well Tmac doesn't surprise me given he was named as an emergency over Bbb the other week. Salem's inclusion does , how long its been since he's played a game. I thought maybe as a sub at best. Feel bad for Harmes( feel he's the closest fit to Sparrow) and I thought given Melk, although not one of my faves kicking 5 last week would be the sub for sure, given Tmacs first game back for a long time. With Gus and maybe Rivers through the middle perhaps the club is trying to wrestle back our centre clearance domination and win the game from that. With wet conditions, I suppose Tmac's ability to get the ball to ground is better than Bbb. No doubt that this is our biggest challenge so far. Win this and it definitely hails us as flag faves with the Pies. Hard to call a win tonight against those ferral supporters but if we do, it will be the sweetest one yet. It's going to be an interesting game. Enjoy dlanders..
  13. True but you'd kick yourself if you accidentally stuck it a parking meter. I've still got about 100 round 50 cent coins tucked away. I believe their silver content was circa 10 bucks last time I checked.
  14. Just wanted to say what a joy it used to be watching him play. A fearless defender with elite foot skills.
  15. Note to DL admin, can we please have a jealous emoji?
  16. We should start a thread for the most interesting/ exotic/ most remote and or strangest places watched . Perhaps with what people as well. In my mind' s eye, I can see some die-hard supporter decked out in Dees paraphernalia listening to some crackling old valve radio in the middle of a forest/ lifeboat somewhere. I was once stranded on a dodgy houseboat on the Clyde River near Batemans Bay having to constantly hold the radio in different positions just to check scores. When I say dodgy, she was perfectly seaworthy unlike my wife and I. If anyone wants a quick hassle free uncontested divorce, I do reccomend houseboating with one's partner. Incidently this reminds me of a Perth mate who had tix for the 21 granny which sadly clashed with his wedding day. Rather than let the tickets be wasted, he placed an add in the local paper for any one wanting to take his place. " It's at 4pm @ St Mary's Catholic cathedral. 41 Victoria Square. Her name is Rachael." I'll see myself out. Ps Maroochydore is not a bad spot to be in. Especially if you pull in a few fish at half time.
  17. It's a fair collar bUt it's hard to feel recently that we're not being targeted. I not paranoid. Everyone else is.
  18. I'd join you Mr oversized pickle, but unfortunately my gulfstreams currently in the shop having diamonds encrusted into the upholstery. Maybe next time😄 I'd say enjoy but it seems a tad superfluous. What a ripper spot to watch it. I hope the Satellite holds up for you unlike my pirated Kayo.
  19. My lounge room cozied up next to the wood burner. Assuming of course my neighbour hasn't realised as yet that I've cracked his Kayo uname amd pword. Take that Murdoch you shameful...... Edit: don't want to be sued like all the others. That's one less Elephant tusk toothpick you cant have.
  20. It's just a state of where the club is right now in terms of the number of players who can fill his spot. I will say as a sheer tagger he's probably our best but as a mid, it's tough out there. He will always be remembered for that sweet, sweet moment on the boundary line where that helped Fritta kick that goal that sparked our comeback to win the flag. May seem a small act and a weird way to define him but boy was I grateful at the time. I hope he stays but I think it would be detrimental to his career.
