I watched Richmond train about month ago and walked away saying Nathan Foley is one of the hardest trainers id ever seen.

How is Miller going to fit in the freo foward line with Tarrant and Pavlich?
-
Play Chris Johnson, Paul Johnson, Lynden dunn, Jace Bode.
Paul Ross was spot on about Riely not playing enough youth. He's selections are really starting to fire me up.If we get done by 6 goals more then we would...who cares, it will be better for the side in the long run.

Miller's nickname should be 'Doofus'

Who does Dunn have to root to get a game?
He was one of our best against the Blues in his first game back. He then played a resonable first half against the lions, then spends most of the second half on the pine....and gets dropped for next three matches when the team has an average losing margin of 12 goals.....NICE!!

You are probably right. But think about why?
He is trying to build a link between Essendon FC and our indigenous communities.
Just another way he is 'nationalising' the Essendon FC.
It's no mistake the Essendon FC are the second most recognised club in the country. (the sponsors must love it....and pay for it too).
The mind boggles at some of the avenues Sheedy could take the MFC down in the name of building interest and associations for the club.
If he is determined to 'hang up the whistle' in six years, he could do a lot worse than leave a legacy behind at the oldest competitive football club in the world.
Go Dees - onward and upward.
The indigenous players he has recruited besides Richard Cole show enormous potential. Davey, Lovett, Jetta and Dempsey are all very young but have all shown a little something that would make Dons supporters very excited.

Weetra 4 goals.

Who is playing on Chad Cornes, and has a melbourne player even thrown a punch during this game? I've turned off the radio which i barely listened to when somebody suggested we sack Riley. Moron.
yea, no players are to blame.
-
Does anyone else think we need another crumbing forward on our list besides Davey. For the last two weeks in paticular i have watched the ball hit the deck in the forawrd line that many times, only to have it swept away. Geelong have Stokes, Varcoe and Byrnes. Roos have Thomas, Whyman and Campbell. Port have kicked multiple goals today with crumbers also.

Im getting married the week after the grand final. It makes perfect sense to me.
Getting married on Grand Final day is a crime and as Condemned said a selfish act especially if you are born and bread in Melbourne.

I dont think he's said he wants to play football anymore.

I said to my Dad on sunday that we have to lose that game if the blues don't win before then and said either of these 2 set ups should occur
Brown to ruck with white, jamar, PJ to play the rovers.... all at once!
or brown, godfrey, ward all in the square cos if we win the tap and it goes to them they will just turn it over any way.
play a reverse flood, flood our forwards and leave fev by himself to kick 20!
I guarantee Brock won’t need to shake a tag.
-
Why the hell was he dropped in the first place. Brown played at HFF and Dunn in the Magoos WTF! I thought the rest of the year was about developing youth.... did I miss something in the last game because Dunny to me put his head over the ball and won a lot of it... FFS I'm well and truly over this year.!
word.

i know this sounds weak but i honestly would prefer us to get a priority pick this year (i.e. lose basically all the rest of our remaining games) rather than win 5 and let carlton get pick 1,3 and 18.
how great would it be to trade one of bruce or green for pick 8-14 and have pick 2,8,18,20. that would set us up majorly for years to come.
If we pick the right players.
-
We smash them into oblivion
Who cares if the Blues get number 1 pick?
The draft is a raffle. They will take Kreuzer, and he could end up being a dud
We need a winning culture We have a lot of brilliant young players that already promise us future success, and they should learn to win
You actually stated something that interested me. Of the top five draft picks from 2000-2004 are the number 1 picks justify. Obviously its all opinion based. But it does back up your statement.

Thats stupid selection. Im all for giving young blokes a go but Dunn should get a run ahead of Buckley IMO.
-
So does Doug Hawkins who said he has pt $4000 on it at about $4. Doug the mug
He said it was the biggest bet of his life.
-
Mr Joe, my brother & I thought that Dunn was starring for a while. I have also said for a weeks now that if Jones doesn't win our best player this year I'd be very surprised.
It was strange. But im pretty sure Dunn spent the first 10 minutes of the third quarter on the pine. This is clearly too long unless he's injured. He didnt get a touch for the whole game after that.
-
I'll probably get abused for this, but as per usual, when Melbourne are out of the running (so say Round 4), I barrack for The Crows to win the flag.
Adelaide for the premiership, Scotty Thompson for Brownlow
If not Adelaide, than I'd be happy for one of Geelong or Kangaroos to win it.
My least preferred option is for the Coke Sniffers to win it.
Oh yes what joy it would bring to see yet another ex-demon wearing a premiership medal.

GO CHOOOOOOKA!@!! ima [censored] but me mate told me he was our best yer?

Rhys Palmer was so impressive against Metro. Im really keen to see how he backs it up this week.

Connolly was an average player who played a few good games for MFC before injuring a knee. He is an ordinary coach who has not got the best from his list. Apparently he was a great bloke to have around on a footy trip and was an excellent clubman. His other claim to fame is that Garry Lyon thinks highly of him. I would rather Riley.
If Peter Schwab had'nt gone to hospital for one match, Connolly may not of even got the Fremantle gig.
Byron should play in 08
in Melbourne Demons
