Dawes said in a NAB cup interview that he was going to play in this game.
In that case I'm tipping Casey.
-
I thought Voges was gone myself and would have gone for one of the younger up and comers but let's see how he goes on tour.
-
Almost missed it but the following is the club's injury list issued prior to today's game:-
Jeremy Howe (hamstring) – 2-3 weeks
Dean Kent (heel) – test
Alex Neal-Bullen (knee) 3-4 weeks
Christian Petracca (knee) – season
Jack Trengove (foot) – indefinite
Bernie Vince (hamstring) – 2-3 weeks
-
Does he know how to get to Box Hill?
-
Ban him from the NAB Challenge games.
-
There's no official list yet but it seems that it's possible to compile a rough injury list as follows:-
Jack Trengove (navicular) - indefinite
Christian Petracca (ACL) - indefinite
Alex Neal-Bullen (knee) ?
Bernie Vince (hamstring) ?
Jeremy Howe (hamstring) ?
Angus Brayshaw (concussion) - 1 week ?
Max King (?) ?
Some others like Jack Watts and Aaron Vandenberg are just coming out of rehab.
If you have reliable information on the above or any others I might have missed out on, please provide it here.

Your spot on about Boags. I was fortunate enough to experience that back in October this year. Was very enjoyable. Loved their Wizard Smith Ale which sadly isn't for purchase outside Tassie.
That sucks big one's re the names. And sadly your right, the cost of court proceeding sup front are very steep and then if you loose become life shattering.....
I hope you blokes sober up by the start of the season.

Surely it would be in the players interests to be able to cross examine Charter and Alavi, for I have no doubt that ASADA will be introducing evidence they have garnered from them. The evidence will have less value than if they attended but the players will not be able to cross examine, so for mine I think the players are the big losers and ADADA can say we did our best to get them here but they declined.
Yes, Charter and Alavi declined to appear and the players, although represented at the Supreme Court don't appear to have made a big fuss about them attending.
How can they turn around and complain later on that they don't have the opportunity to cross examine them on their evidence.
If you're going to draw inferences, they are that that the players didn't particularly want them to give evidence because they felt that such evidence would not help their prospects of proving that they weren't given tb4.

This Knightmare must have nightmare's with his arithmetic. He has the bloke he's picked to go at 4 in the 5 - 15 range.

Actually, the performance of the midfield depends on a number of factors and not simply the personnel playing there. You need to take into account the tactics the coaches apply to midfield contents and the performance of the rucks as well. Even this year, our mids performed at their best when Jamar did well in the ruck. When he ran out of steam late in the season because of a lack of preseason training and we lost Cross, the midfield performance slipped.

The Demons are confident they will have the majority of their list up and running ahead of the start of pre-season training. Melbourne had four players in for post-season surgery – Dom Tyson (finger), Bernie Vince (shoulder), Max Gawn (knee) and Dean Terlich (ankle). Tyson spent a short time in a sling, but has come through without any obvious afflictions. In further positive news for the Demons, Jack Trengove (foot) and Jake Spencer (ankle) have started their running programs and the belief is they will both be close to full training when the club resumes after the break. Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney told AFL.com.au the club was happy with how it was positioned from an injury standpoint, "The low number of injuries puts us in a really good position to hit the ground running at the start of pre-season with the vast majority of players training." - Ben Guthrie

There have been no posts to date responding to this thread but the articles contain a wealth of information about the potential draft pool.
Is it possible for this to be made a "sticky" please so that it doesn't get lost in the pack?

Would they take Watts do you think?
A no 1 pick for a no 1 pick. How quaint!
